I woke up one morning on the couch with my head rested on Benedict's chest.
"Good morning," He said with a low, gruff voice.
"Morning. Sorry, I didn't make it through the whole movie," I laughed quietly, smiling up at him.
"Neither did I. I was tired."
I rubbed my eyes then looked at the clock on the wall behind us. "Shit... I'm fifteen minutes late to work."
"Do you need a ride? I can drive you if you-"
"No, Benedict, I'm fine. Thank you though." I kissed his cheek then ran into the bathroom, throwing on my uniform. I was going to be in so much trouble.
I walked back out, grabbing my phone that was spazzing out, but I ignored it. I couldn't afford to be any later.

After I had left, Benedict got up to make himself some coffee, only to find that his phone was also spazzing out.
"What the hell?"
He picked it up and opened a text message, his jaw dropping.
"Oh my god..." He gasped.

I ran to work because it wasn't too far from Benedict's flat, but just as I got there, I found a crowd of paparazzi outside.
What were they doing here? Were they following a celebrity?
"Excuse me..." I pushed through the crowd, trying to get inside of the building.
"That's her!" Someone yelled. "That's Ana Greenwood, Benedict's girlfriend!"
I froze in my spot, my eyes widening. How did they know that I was dating Benedict? How did they know I worked here?
I turned around, cameras flashing in my face. Oh my god. They were everywhere.
Just then, I felt a hand grab me and pull me into the restaurant. It was my boss.
"I can explain... why I'm late. I'm sorry." I stammered, looking at her face.
"Nevermind that! Is it true? Are you really dating Benedict Cumberbatch?" She questioned, pulling me back behind the counter.
I looked at all of the people outside then back at her, nodding. Then I whispered, "Where'd you hear it from?"
"It's all over the news Ana. The Daily Mail posted an article with pictures of you and Benedict holding hands and getting rather close."
My eyes filled up with tears and I brought my hand up to my mouth, shaking my head vigorously.
"No, no, no... It was supposed to stay private! We didn't want this!" I sobbed, sliding down to the ground, my hands covering my face.
"Ana, it's going to be fine..." My boss sat down next to me, awkwardly rubbing my back. She'd never been this kind to me, and it felt strange.
"No it's not. There's always going to be cameras in our faces now. We won't get any privacy!"
My body shook as I cried, and my boss just sat there. "Why don't you take today off and go home? Take it easy. I'll even give you full pay."
I nodded and wiped my eyes, whispering, "Thank you so much."
~
I went out the back way after calling a cab, which took me back to my flat.
Opening the door, I was about to call Benedict, but I found him sitting on my couch, looking upset.
"Can we talk?" He asked, looking up at me with glossy eyes.
