AN: Ah, nothing better than binge-writing 2000+ words in the middle of the night beacause you can't sleep! Anyways, there are a few things I would like to mention before the new chapter .
(1) I forgot to mention in the last chapter that the info-disk that the Bad Batch is after holds a Seperatist algorithm, so I went back and edited that in.
(2) I say later in the chapter that Wrecker has a rotary blaster. I know that he doesn't really but I gave him one anyways. Yes, I have that power XD
(3) I know that there is a lot unknown about Abby, but that's the point. She will reveal her secrets as time goes on.
(4) The picture below is one I drew of Abby in her Mandalorian armor
Ok that's all. (Long A/N I know) But anyways, on to the story! Love you all! 💕
Edited (switching to 3rd person POV, grammar) once again, if inconsistencies in person or tense are found, let me know!
Abby's Mandalorian armor thunked dully against the hard dirt road as she marched through Black Spire Outpost. The sun had barely risen and the cool air of the morning nipped at her cheeks. Her purple and silver helmet was pinned to her side, tucked underneath her arm, and her cape swirled softly behind with every movement made. Smells of fresh fruits, meats, and spices wafted towards her nose as she strolled past the local venders. Although it was only 0'600, stores were already preparing themselves for the day's business. Vendors were unpacking their wares, crates were being unloaded, and food was being grilled for the day's sales at the restaurants.
Abby made her way towards the docking bay, past Oga's Cantina, mentally preparing herself for the mission ahead. The day before had passed like it was only a matter of minutes, instead of a full day. Time certainly seems to pass faster when you are dreading something
'Just another mission, everything will be fine,' Abby tried to tell herself, though she didn't truly believe it. In reality, she had felt a strange sense of foreboding ever since she had accepted the mission from Robbie that late night, a day and a half ago.
'You're imagining things, what could possibly go wrong?'
'Well, a whole lot.' she answered herself.
A few minutes later, Abby had arrived at an outdoor docking bay. Strolling down the lanes past several other ships, she soon found Landing Pad Four. There, she spotted Sergeant Hunter standing outside of his ship, which looked to be a modified Omicrom Attack Shuttle. Pretty inconspicuous; it didn't scream 'Republic' like most of the ships in their fleet. Abby approached the ship, ready to get her mission started. Hunter looked up when he heard the dull thunk of her armored footfalls and Abby gave him a two-fingered salute.
