He gave me a small smile.I wonder when will I be able to see that same smile on the picture again...
One day, someday...
Hopefully soon.
"Since you're the one who cooked breakfast today, I'll do the dishes." I said as soon as we were done eating.
"N-no! It's ok! You're my guest. But, you already did so much for me..." Midnight stammered out.
I didn't hear the last part quite bit and was confused with his actions.
He started fidgeting his fingers and his face turned red.
Is he sick or what?
"Are you not feeling well?" I asked, concerned.
Reaching out to put my hand on his forehead to check, I was surprised that he flinched and backed away from me.
"Woah! I was just gonna check your temperature..."
I frowned, a little bit upset by the thought that he would think I'd hurt him.
"Oh..." He blinked at me cutely before grabbing my hand and putting it on his forehead.
Yet, Midnight still did not let go and I held back a grin threatening to show on my face.
I definitely do not want to appear like a creep right now.
Especially in front of him.
"Mm... You're not that hot though." I mumbled, feeling how warm he was.
"You think I'm not hot?"
Wait, what? No!
I was about to explain but stopped when I saw him grinning cheekily at me.
Letting out a smirk, I leaned closer to him. "I think you're being sly."
His face turned red and he became a stammering mess, making me laugh.
Should I tease him a bit more?
Slowly tilting my head to plant a quick kiss on his exposed neck, I waited for his reaction.
He lightly pushed me away. "Dishes! I'll do the dishes!"
I chuckled while shaking my head.
Midnight... You're so freaking adorable.
