Alright, this is the scariest nightmare I've ever had omfg-
I haven't had a nightmare in at least a year, so this was a bit of a shock too.
It started off with me, my friends, and their families all staying in this one huge vacation home (very reminiscent to the one that we all stayed in during my break)
At first it was a nice dream, all of us messing around and having fun, but then it all went down hill
My Dad started acting insanely sociopathic. I had noticed the signs, but didn't say much until I overheard him talking about how badly he wanted to go shoot up a school and then everyone in the house afterwards.
That freaked dream me the hell out to the point of tears, so I ran to tell my Mom, but whenever I did she just acted kinda lifeless. She didn't really have much of a reaction other than "I know" which scared the shit out of me even more, so I ended up just either staying outside, by a window or door so I could easily escape if my Dad did shoot everyone, or just avoiding my Dad as much as possible.
While I was outside one of those times, I heard these kids talking about how they were about to go into our vacation house and shoot everyone in there, so without thinking I just ran to the old lady next door's house (Idk why I didn't warn anyone in the house) and hid in there, but then I heard the kids run into the house. I panicked, but they were acting all innocent like they just wanted to play.
I ended up sneaking out of the neighbor's house and going back to the vacation house, where everyone was eating s'mores by a fire and acting creepily happy, and that's where the dream cut off.
This dream was insanely weird also because everyone was insanely out of character. My Dad literally agreed to pulling us out of school because of school shooters, my Mom would flip her shit if I even brought up the idea of a shooter because that stuff scares the hell out of her, and it was all just hella creepy.
So yeah, that sucked.
