King had been alternately staring at his opened notes and at Ram for some time now. One of the books in front of him is opened on a practice problem but King is far from using any known equation in the problem he is solving now.
King is pissed and irritated and all things annoyed. A timely question came to mind but the scene in front of him is adding more to the problem he's currently trying to solve.
King doesn't know where he and Ram stands. Definitely not in the literal sense for they are actually sitting although on different tables but on the, er, romantic side of things. Like being official couple and stuffs.
And King has been thinking about it for some time now. He does like the sound of being Ram's faen but he's wondering how he can bring that up without sounding too forward or that he's rushing things.
Ram and King already went out to a couple of dates, had been to each other's places and spent more time than necessary in each other's company simply because they like it but they haven't really talked about their relationship yet and King is slowly getting unsatisfied with simply being the senior Ram's been going on dates with, without anyone knowing.
Looking at Ram on the other side, King wants to quickly go over and sit beside him and possibly ask to be alone with him to talk about it. The problem?
Someone pretty is smiling sweetly and talking to Ram. And King is probably jealous. Or maybe he just woke up in the wrong side of the bed. King bets on the second possibility and he's not good at gambling.
King is still sitting and holding his pen aimlessly while staring at Ram on their table when the pretty stranger suddenly got a bit closer to Ram, her hand on his shoulder. It was a complete eyesore that when the contact lasted for more than a second, Thep King put all of his things on his little bag and went over to the other side with as fewer steps as possible and called Ram.
"A'Ning"
The person being called immediately recognized the voice and looked up to King with a rare smile on his lips. Something King has been so familiar with since a few weeks ago.
"P'King"
"So you can actually talk A'Ram?", the pretty stranger said with a hint of a tease.
Ram didn't spare the person sitting beside him a glance and quickly went over to stand beside King.
"Are you free?", Ram asked after King didn't talk.
"Yes I am."
"Let me get my things then let's go somewhere."
"Sure"
After getting all his things, Ram said his goodbye to everyone on the table and held King's arm as they left the place.
The pretty stranger was left confused and amazed at the same time. Hearing Ram spoke that much was unusual if one isn't part of his close group of friends and it left the girl dumbfounded and wondering at the same time who could be the handsome guy and what's his relationship with Ram. Her two-color palette unable to recognize King's blue engineering shirt.
She then turned to Ram's friends but they only told her that King was a senior who helps them and is friendly towards their group. Without any other interesting answer to get from them, she left the table and went to her college.
She was initially interested in Ram but seeing how close he was and partial to the 'friendly' senior, she can only sigh and forget about her plans.
