Ram came back earlier than promised. Pacing back and forth outside King's door, he was contemplating whether he'd knock now or wait for 15 more minutes. It's considered rude to be late to an appointment but how about getting a bit early?

Knowing King would understand him, Ram made up his mind and knocked twice. Surprisingly, it hasn't taken the senior long to swing wide open the door to his place. He was already dressed and looked good to go. They are of one mind tonight.

After exchanging shy smiles, King stepped out and locked the door to his place. He already started walking ahead when he stopped and noticed that Ram hasn't taken a single step yet.

With his head hanging a bit low, Ram is trying to do something with his hands and is looking hesitant. King thought he looked cute and decided to help him out.

Walking towards his nong, King grabbed one of Ram's hands before saying, "Shall we go now?", Ram only nodded as King even interlocked their fingers together. His cheeks were a deeper red then.

Getting to the parking lot was thrice as long but neither of them gave it any mind. Ram was always dragging King somewhere while holding on to his wrist but them holding hands while slowly taking their time felt more right for him.

Walking towards an unfamiliar car, it was King's turn to look at Ram and pose a silent question. Ram didn't say a word and only opened the door for King before going to the driver's side.

"You haven't answered me yet.", King stated right after Ram closed the door beside him.

"Had this for a while P' but only got my license recently."

"Were you learning how to drive behind my back?", King asked Ram. No malice in his voice but it's apparent he was taken aback by the discovery.

"It's part of my surprise.", Ram explained.

Hearing Ram's reply, King averted his gaze and tried his best not to smile.

So you've been preparing for this for a while now?, King thought to himself and can't help but blush. Actions will always be Ram's strong point and King can't help but melt at this.

Seeing King has no intention to ask further on the matter and doesn't look upset, Ram heaved a sigh of relief. He doesn't want to begin their date by apologizing.

King on the other hand was trying to play it cool and was about to put his seatbelt on when Ram stopped him and took something from one of the car's compartments.

"Do you trust me P'?", Ram asked as he showed King a blindfold. The senior looked surprised but answered in the affirmative.

"I do.", King replied after considering the question and the piece of cloth in Ram's hand.

"Please let me.", Ram plead and King nodded his head.

After Ram secured the blindfold, King can't help but comment on it.

"You're making me too excited for this, A'Ning."

Ram only smiled to himself and gently squeezed King's hand. Silently assuring his P' that everything's okay.

"Hope we get there fast. This much excitement and my curiosity is killing me.", King continued to joke while they are on the ride. All the while willing his heart not to beat too fast and hoping his cheeks and ears weren't too flushed.

After almost an hour of driving, with King being a bundle of nerves and curious anticipation in the passenger seat, they arrived at the place.

"We're here now P'. Just let me park and I'll guide you out. Don't remove the blindfold yet.", Ram instructed and King only waited with bated breath.

When he felt Ram get out of the car, his nong opened the door to his side and carefully helped him out. They walked a few steps from the car then Ram guided him to sit.

King felt it was a wooden reclined chair and he laid slowly on it. Ram then removed the blindfold and all King first saw was complete darkness. When his eyes adjusted, he was treated to a breathtaking night sky full of stars.

King was feeling too many emotions at that time he didn't notice his cheeks were already wet with tears until he felt Ram's fingers drying it for him.

"I don't know how to thank you for it Ram.", was what King only managed to say as he sit straight on the chair.

Ram joined him on the chair and gave him a back hug.

"I know it isn't enough but I still want to say thank you. You're always making me happy Ram.", King added in his softest voice. He felt Ram smiled on his shoulder but the nong kept quiet. King knows he has something to say and waited patiently.

"It was just like that drive for me all this time. Dark and seemingly unending. I woke up and sleep to a black and white world. It was all the colors I know. Then you came P'. Thank you. I never knew I could be this happy before you.", then Ram hugged King more tightly. Trying to say in not too many words how thankful he is and all his many other feelings for King.

When Ram finished speaking, King turned his head towards him and looked him straight in those doe-brown eyes. It was a whole conversation devoid of words.

When someone finally speak, he said the sweetest words.

"I love you."

The stars stood as witnesses,
A touch chaste and sweet,
A shared nectar of heavenly bliss
The night was but a few hours long
But lovers have their ways and means to make it last like those immortal songs.
