eighteen.

You finally went back to work. And to your surprise, nothing big happened.

You braced yourself for something interactions or any punishment you'll be receiving but days passed like any other normal week. And for the past days, you've only got to talk to Eunwoo, but only outside this building. He reassured you that Taeyong is getting well since you haven't seen that man for days you still feel guilty.

Luckily, none of your co-workers suspect you about being obviously suspicious.

Although Mina notices, she remained quiet about it since she knows you don't like to talk about yourself but she was slightly sad to realize you're kind of distancing yourself away from her.

Simply because you just don't want another person to harm.

It was finally lunch time today and you were about to refuse again but this time, Mina grabbed your wrist and snarled. "Let's eat. No rejections and all!"

You brushed your hair up in stress. You were just about to speak when one of you co-workers smiled. "Y/N looks so tired, we're literally not doing anything most of the time."

Oh, and also that. You completely have no idea about EXO's plan.

They have been giving everyone just a free time. There are almost no works being asked for all of you to make. You wondered what happened between them and the stockholders.

You can't ask Eunwoo either. He already told you that he's gone most of the meetings. Junmyeon will surely suspect him if he suddenly starts being an obedient ally who follows the rules. Most especially now that they saw you.

As for Taeyong, you still hadn't talk to him.

"Screw it. You are eating whether you have no appetite or not." Mina looked like she's ready to fight before pulling you away.

You slightly flinched upon the light the amount of people in the cafeteria. It's been a while since you went out for lunch times.

"See, you don't even know this is how the cafeteria looks most of the time." Mina scolded.

"Why are there a lot of people? Are these all the employees?" You followed Mina's steps who seems to be an expert on finding seats despite the large number of crowd.

"Almost everyone in this building gathers herr for lunch," Mina turned to look at you. "Because of the amount of free time everyone is having."

"Ahh." You nodded.

"Don't you think it's weird?" One of your co-workers who Mina befriended with asked.

"What is?" You raised your brow.

"After the stockholders event that happened, they suddenly give us no works. I'm getting nervous," Mina pouted. "What if we don't receive our salary for the whole month?"

"That's impossible, the boys wouldn't do that." You blurted out of nowhere. "They might be tough but I'm sure they wouldn't betray such amount of innocent people."

"The.. boys?" One of your co-workers looked at you with a confused glance. Obviously because you referred to them like a normal friend. "Innocent people?"

"You sound like.." Mina scratched her head. "You know the leaders too well."

Your eyes turned in circles while you anxiously glanced around. You quickly stood up and tried to remained your normal posture despite the thunders sending on your spine.

"Uhh.. let's go and buy some foods before we talk things out?" You flashed a smile.

Fortunately, they fall in your excuse. Throughout the meal, you just remained silent and laughed along like you always do.
