twenty seven.
Your mother hid her trembling hands on her coat as she watched the doctor take his seat. The doctor smiled shortly, visible worry can be seen in his expression.
"H-How's my daughter doing?"
The doctor exhaled, a not-so-good approach. "I must say, she hate getting treated like this?"
Your mother frowned and nodded. "She hated we're here again. She doesn't like to be in a therapy. I don't know what else should I do.."
"That's a common thing for most of the patients. One of the ways to cope up with this is that, we make them stay here. So they can get monitored."
Mrs. Yoon shut her eyes with a frown. "She will not like it. I'd rather make her stay at home."
Despite the doctor trying to encourage your mother to make you stay here, she still chose what she think you will be in favor with.
The doctor pulled up a file, the last piece for encouragement. "We heard some few mumbled name while she was subconscious."
"What was it?" Asked by your mother.
"It was Kris." The doctor pulled out the paper and showed it to her. "It's 'Kris'. Repeatedly."
Mrs. Yoon stopped on her tracks. Her eyes squinted while her hands shakily grabbed the file. The doctor gave a moment of silence as a sign of respect.
Her eyes scanned the list of responses you answered before giving it back to the doctor. "Did Miss Y/N undergo a therapy before?"
Mrs. Yoon nodded eagerly. "She was monitored for about two years. Her schedule ended a few months already because we have to go home here."
A glint of hope shined in the doctor's eyes. "I suppose you still have contact with her doctor before?"
"Yes."
"We'll have to ask you about their number and information first, then we will proceed on comparing Miss Y/N's responds as well as records before. That's why we really need to get her monitored once again and see if there's any improvements," The doctor pushed.
However, Mrs. Yoon wasn't encouraged at all. She wanted to see if there's any progress but doesn't want to see you a lot more unhappy.
It seemed like a visible expression to the doctor which made him nod in understanding. "It's okay if you won't want your daughter to get monitored. She already gone through the process and I guess that's enough, but we'll just see through it."
Your mother pulled a relieved smile. "Thank you so much."
"And also, I have one last question," He once again put back the file inside the drawer. "Who is this Kris? Do you know him?"
Mrs. Yoon clutched tightly on her clothes. "I-I don't, b-but Y/N.. knows her."
"What's their relationship? Friends? Boyf-"
"Friends, as far as I know. They are friends." Mrs. Yoon smiled bitterly. "Why?"
"I hoped Y/N can talk to this person, it seems like she needs it."
