The others arrived down a few moments later. Nobody moved as Summer looks like she was thinking on something.
Summer: So we understand that you would not want to change your last name.
Y/N: I mean you two seem great but they're the ones who raised me.
Summer: Right, Tai the emblem.
Yang: Emblem?
Tai: You see Y/N we had this made when you were born. We planned on gifting you this as you went to Signal.
Summer: But that all doesn't matter now as you came back to us.
He handed the emblem Summer and Tai look at Y/N in anticipation. The emblem was half white with the other half red. Looking behind it was engraved with the name that Y/N once held. A name from a time long forgotten, Y/N Rose. Y/N took one more look before looking to his family.
Y/N: Thank you, uh I'll be sure to wear it.
Ruby: It looks like mine without the whole white part!
Summer: Well Ruby, Y/N was the first to be born.
Yang: Well are you going to put it on?!
Y/N: Yeah, just let me put on regular clothes.
Velvet: I didn't want to interrupt the family moment of yours, but I'm beginning to think Ozpin did that for the surprise factor.
Ruby: Makes sense.
Yang: Yup.
Summer: Same old Ozpin.
Tai: I tried staying away from him because of what Qrow and I did to his mug once.
Y/N: I'm going now.
Tai: We'll be near the bullheads.
Going to his room Y/N opens the door, seeing Hunter doing papers.
Hunter: Yeah, I gotta ask you. Am I an uncle now or something?
Y/N: Ruby asked the same question.
Hunter: Because I'm way too young to be an uncle. Wait... there's younger people who are. Eh, anyways I did something to your gun.
Y/N: It better be good.
Hunter: Believe me it is. In fact if you don't like it I'll let you have my bacon for a week.
Inspecting his longshot it had gains letters to its side saying, LOVE THAT POP!
Hunter: You like?
Y/N: Your bacon is saved.
Hunter: Thank god. My mug is filled with it right now. I heard people do something that's called brownie in a mug so I thought why not bacon in a mug?
Y/N: I heard there's a thing called bacon bits.
Hunter: Wait, you're telling me I can put it on my bacon.
Hunter went off presumably to do that. After changing Y/N puts the emblem on his waist and went to the bullheads. Summer did not look too happy.
Summer: Velvet told us a few things about your relationship.
Yang: I didn't know you had it in you.
Velvet: Sorry Y/N I kinda panicked.
Summer: No child of mine will ever do that without asking for permission.
