4 - Hera

Annabeth's POV

"You don't know where Percy is?" I ask trying not to yell.

"He just disappeared!" Piper says.

Before I can respond Poseidon appears next to me. He is holding Percy.

"Oh, my Gods! Percy! You cannot just run off like that! Where did you go?"

"I didn't run," Percy says. "I went to go find SpongeBob. I swam all the way to the bottom of the ocean but, he wasn't there," he says sounding very disappointed. "I did find a very mean lady at the bottom of the sea. She said a bunch of stuff that didn't make sense. Then, when I asked what she said she told me cursed me. Annabeth, what does cursed mean? Is it bad?"

"It can be," I answer him. "Who was the woman?" I ask him, hoping he would know.

"I don't know," Percy says. At the same time, Poseidon says, "it was Hera."

"Hera!" All six of us say at once.

"What did she do to him?" Frank asks.

"She found out what Percy said to Zeus and got mad," Poseidon answers.

"How was she even at the bottom of the ocean? Isn't that your domain?" Piper asks.

"Yes, it is but, she is a Goddess. She can go whenever she wants."

"What was the curse?" I ask.

"That's a great question Ms. Chase," a voice behind me says.

I groan as I turn around. I know that voice. "What is the curse?" I ask Hera.

"Oh, it's simple really. All Percy has to do is learn how to respect me and my husband then we will turn him back. Until then he will stay a five-year-old."

"We have to teach him to respect you and Zeus before you will try him back?" Piper asks.

"Yes, Ms. Mclean. That's what I just said."

"How are we supposed to do that?" I cry in disbelief. "He doesn't like you as a 17-year-old. How can we make him like you now?"

"I don't know, I'm sure you will figure it out though," Hera says before leaving.
