AN: Hey peeps! Hope everyone is safe, sound, and happy! If not, I'm really sorry and hope things get better! Ok, back to business! Casanova and his partners stole the crown and fled around the time Joseph woke up and started doing chores. Casanova ditched the pillar men around the time Kars got back and has been running since. We're picking up where we left off last time we saw him. I apologise if my Italian is incorrect since I am using Google Translate. Alright here we go! Enjoy

~Chapter Four~

Casanova tore through the forest desperately trying to escape the royal guards, so far he had lost 2 of them. Only 1 was left, he just so happened to be the captain of the guard. "Merda! Come ho intenzione do uscire da questo?*"

He quickly ducked under a fallen tree, after a quick glance over his shoulder he saw that Captain Messina and his horse, Loggins were catching up to him fast. "Merda, merda, merda!*" further up on the path he spotted a low hanging branch.

As he approached the branch, he reached out and grabbed it. The momentum he had going let him swing over the branch just as Loggins and Captain Messina went under. He flipped over and kicked the captain off of his horse. "Excellent! Now I can escape!"

Just as he thought that, Loggins realized that he had the wrong rider and skidded to a halt, nearly throwing Casanova off. "What?! No! Go you stupid horse!! I have to escape, you are supposed to be my getaway!" Casanova was desperately pulling the reigns trying to get the horse to move.

After a while of nothing but Casanova grunting and cursing, Loggins bucked him off. Casanova rubbed his head, it was then that he noticed his satchel had been thrust away from him. He made eye contact with the horse, they both wanted it.

He shot up like a bullet while he and the horse lunged at it. They knocked into each other causing the satchel to go flying forward and catch on a tree branch that was dangling over the side of a cliff. Casanova shoved the horse as hard as he could and raced over to the tree.

He was so close when the horse knocked him down. Oh, now they were playing dirty. Fine. He could play dirty. He grabbed Loggins' tail and yanked as hard as he could. He managed to knock him back a bit but he quickly caught up. The next few seconds consisted of the two shoving at each other until they reached the tree.

Casanova had the brilliant idea to make the horse think he had fallen off the cliff, grab the satchel, and swing to safety. Turns out the horse was a bit smarter than he thought. He followed him on the tree trying to make him fall. Casanova had just gotten the satchel hooked on one of his fingers when he heard it.

A loud crack. Suddenly they were plunging downwards. He clutched the satchel close to his chest as he crashed into a tree that effectively broke his fall. Ugh, pain. He quickly sat up, grabbed the satchel and started running and looking for a place to hide.

After a bit he saw a small cave with vines hanging all the wah to the ground. He barely managed to squeeze into in time. Just as he finished squishing himself in the hole, the shadow of Loggins passed by. Thankfully he didn't notice him and kept going. Casanova remained still for a few minutes to make sure that Loggins didn't come back.

Once he was sure the horse was gone, he started wiggling around. He found a larger space to the right that appeared to be a tunnel. On the other side he could see sunlight filtering through more vines. "Well I guess it can't hurt to see what's on the other side," Casanova slowly made his way through the cool tunnel.

When he emerged on the other side he saw that it was basically a hidden valley. It was so beautiful. In the distance he saw a lone tower that looked to be abandoned. "Perfect! I can hide out there until I come up with a plan!" He thought to himself.

He walked through the beautiful valley. He had never seen anything like it! It looked to completely undisturbed by humans except for the tower. The grass was tall and green, flowers of every color grew everywhere, small clear streams flowed around the small paradise.

It was like a small enchanted forest that you heard about in fairy tales. "I wonder if there are any beautiful princesses in the area that I can woo?" He thought wryly (AN: Oh Casanova, you have no idea 😆😉).

Timeskip because Casanova is having a nice walk

He had finally reached the tower. It looked to be ancient, but in surprisingly good condition.

He saw many bricks that stuck out just enough for him to use as hand holds all the way up. He took a deep breath, cracked his knuckles, and stretched before he began his upward climb.

Timeskip brought to you by my lazy ass self

Casanova had finally made it to the top. He pulled himself through an open window. He stood up, dusted his hands off, grabbed his satchel and stared at his prize. "Alone at last," he sighed. Then everything went black as a sharp pain bloomed across the back of his head.

-Shit! How am I going to get out of this one?

-Crap, crap, crap!

AN: Yay! I finished this chapter! This one was giving me a lot of problems because I couldn't figure out who I wanted to be the horse. I literally spent half an hour staring at the characters of part two desperately trying to map out how this story was going to play out. Anyway, Casanova is finally in the tower!! Yay! Stay safe my lovelies!
