From Readers to Writers

Interview 30 - Noor by Fuzzies

I am proud to interview  who is the winner of The Congenial Awards for the book - "Noor".

Let's get right into it!

1. {Nabeela} What inspired you to write your book?

I always wanted to write something that raised awareness on how most desi families are. Not all families are like that, but many are. 

Abuse, especially domestic abuse isnt something that was really something people in my house acknowledged. So by writing this book I wanted to show the trouble some women go through and that with the help of Allah they can over come anything

2. {Nabeela} I agree with you on that. When did you join Wattpad?

I joined Wattpad about 7 years ago. I would usually just read. I had a few plots written in my notebook and a friend of mine made me upload it. So I began writing on here about two years ago

3. {Nabeela} How have you grown since you first started writing?

When I first began writing, I felt as if I needed to update every week because people were waiting for me to update. Therefore my chapter would be really short and fast. I have now learned to take my time to write our my chapters, to put myself in.yhe characters shoes and feel the emotions they are feeling. 

I try to put myself in that scenario. This was something I never did before.

4. {Nabeela} How does it feel to have won the contest?

I'm shocked! This was something I never imagined happening. I had to re read your update just to make sure. I feel so proud of my accomplishments and 

I owe it all to God, to Allah, and also my dear friend, Faiza, who literally ate my head to upload my book on Wattpad. ❤ I feel so honoured that the judges loved my book ❤
