The city's cold and empty, no one's around to judge me.
~ The Weekend
Blinding Lights.⚫⚫
Once I am done with my meal, I put the plate in the dishwasher, I glance at the clock in the kitchen 4:15am, training started at 7am on the dot.
I didn't feel sleepy so didn't bother myself with go back to bed, i stayed outside and stared at the sky for a while, not even ten minutes of me being out.
I all of a sudden hear footsteps making me turn around, I see a shadow walking towards me and immediately I sniffed the air to find out if there was a threat or not, I sniffed the air and immediately recognize the scent as Mikhail.
Mikhail steps out of the dark and make his way to me, I stare at him for a while and when he makes no sign of starting a conversation. I look back up at the sky and stared at it, the dark hues of the blue sky, the stars that shined brightly if I looked closely I could see the tinge of blue and red on them, the crescent moon as it shone dimly brightly and I feel my body at calm all the tension leave my body.
This was one of the moments I enjoyed, nature always calmed me down and made me feel at peace probably because of my wolf, even while I was in the human world I always felt calm and at ease, that's why there was a lot of plants in my house.
I hear the sound of crickets chipping making me move my gaze from the sky and to the garden where I sat, the garden was found at the back of the house and I was shown it when I was given a tour of the camp on the 2nd day of my arrival.
The garden was very large and had well mowed grasses and a section of it was a flower garden, there was filled with different type and colours of flowers, I saw daffodils, lilies, roses—and even black roses— daisies, Irises. The flower arrangement was quite vast and incredibly beautiful.
And there was also some other flowers I didn't know and I tried to find out names of the flowers I couldn't recognize using my nose and some features of them, my eyes fell on the tufted lilac, its section was smaller than that of the rest flowers, the pale purple making me remember my favourite car and purple Lamborghini, purple wasn't really my colour, it wasn't even my favourite colour that was black, I would rather say it was just the spur of the moment.
I co-owned a multi million dollar company, even with hardly any parental figure, apart from my Uncle and I still turned out successful, I hardly had any friends, not because people didn't talk to me, hell in college I was popular even when I hardly attended during my freshman year before switching to online classes.
I sure had come a long way I didn't even realize how much time had passed, until the sun started rising, I watched the sun as it rose, as it rose the sky became much brighter and the moon hardly became visible, the yellow hues of the sun lighting up the sky and the white clouds also became much more visible, the sky became much more bright no longer such a dim colour now as such beautiful colours, filled the sky.
I sat at peace watching the sunrise that I didn't even notice when Mikhail left, I just sat down there even after the sun as risen as the other Alpha's woke up, bathed, dressed and ate breakfast, I didn't need to shower since I already did that early in the morning before I had eaten and was already dressed for today activities.
~~~
I watch as my fellow trainees made their way out of the house and to the training grounds making me immediately stand up and head over to join them, today we had to do our usual morning 10 mile run which we always did as a form of a race alpha's always like competition, it excites both our human and wolf form, it was just the way we were born, before training began.
