Chapter Twenty-six

Zion's suicide had caused some problems for the camp as the council came to investigate and stayed at the camp for a while to properly investigate.

After they had researched and had found out that Zion's death was simply a suicide case they had grabbed their bags and left.

Meanwhile Ace surgery had been successful and he was told he just needed a few days to rest, normally werewolves don't do surgery as our healing abilities were quite strong but the injury was so serious that a surgery had to be performed since werewolves surgery was quite rare there were only few doctors in Mijeria that knew how to perform surgeries for werewolves so it was little bit difficult to find an experienced and authorized werewolf surgeon for Ace.

Thankfully the surgery was completed and Ace just had to rest for a few days because of his accelerated healing.

Sasha had behaved like nothing had happened and continued behaving like the bitch she always was but this time just without Zion.

Eventually most of the alphas didn't really care much about how she behaved with someone that already had a mate and she waa just left her with her own devices.

Sosa's sister Ejemen has just recently woken up from her coma which was actually good news in this bad time, she had been going through physiotherapy and also performed anything really that help her in her recovery.

It had been decided that she would take over her rightful position once she was fit enough for her role and she would also be replacing Sosa here soon.

Sosa didn't object with the decision at all and actually seemed to agree, I thought that she would at least fight for it since werewolves are known to love being in a position of power but she's basically from the Amor pack so this is something I would expect of them.

I sat at Alexia's and I previous training spot I had subconsciously came here at the usual time before remembering that she was dead and would no longer be here any more.

I wasn't really that sad because Alexia and I weren't really close but it still was heartbreaking because she was such a good person and had an amazing life in front of her.

We weren't quite close even though we saw each other more than three times a day, classes not included, we basically just had  an instructor and an instructee relationship between us and we did occasionally talked now and then during the beginning, mid training and after training, also apart from Jaxon she was the only one in the camp that knew about Daniel being my uncle.

I had previously slipped up and told her about it but she didn't actually act like how I had expected her to, she accepted it easily and didn't make any fuss about it.

I stood up from the small couch and left  the small building, I headed to the usual tree and opened the small door before turning the the metal knob to close it.

I start making my way to the camp but halfway through the journey to the camp, I changed my mind and decided to go for a run.

Since Alexia's death my wolf had been on edge and I haven't even had the chance to go for a run with everything that happened, everything just happened so quickly that it feels so surreal.

Training had been cancelled for a week after that incidence and to allow us to mourn her death, Alexia's death seemed to had affected Seth a lot but I think Zion's suicide drew the line, he had been behaving out of character for a while now.

Also some of the present Alpha's had come to the camp to show their condolences and also probably to check on our progress.

Jaxon's mate Chloe has been staying in the camp for some time now as she hadn't found a place to stay and Jaxon was extremely possessive, I always wondered why Daniel allowed her to stay here and while Jaxon actually allowed her to stay with him.

Chloe used to work for Victor as he had forced her to do so, Jaxon had found his mate outside of the dungeons apparently she was a guard in the dungeon and he had rescued her and brought her to the camp, at least one good thing came out of the attack.

I ran father and father away from the camp before stripping, I immediately changed into wolf form after I had stripped.

Lia was very happy to be free and had wagged her tail before taking off, it indeed had been quite a while since I had allowed her to come out and be free, in the camp my guard was always up incase we got any attack and to prevent our secret from being found.

I don't know how long we ran but I did know that I gave lia free reins so that she could run as much as she could and wanted.

After a while I decided to head back to the camp, I stopped where I had previously kept my clothes.

I heard footsteps and the crunch of the dried leaves on the floor, I immediately shifted back to my human form if somehow actually saw me naked it would be much better than If they saw me in my wolf form.

The footsteps became closer and closer as the steps became closer to where I was and the air was engulfed with dominance from every step he took.

A black big wolf came into view it was almost as big as a horse just slightly smaller, the wolf had such cold eyes, the grey an unusual shade and colour, it's eyes had a bit of crazed in them.

The wolf walked with such grace that I knew that the wolf must be of a very high position, my gaze traveled thought the wolf until it stopped at the black insignia at the hip of the back paw.

Insignia—only the royal family were allowed to have insignia in the community anyone else that attempted to was immediately felt with and killed.

Insignia, dominance, grace, poise it all made sense the wolf in front of me was no other than the alpha king, the present alpha king was hardly ever seen in persona as he mostly stayed in the Realeza pack.

I couldn't help but submit to the wolf in front of me, my wolf immediately submitting to the wolf instead of fighting for dominance like she usually did.
