Chapter Eleven

I enjoy the feel of the wind on my fur as I  run, it has been quite a while since I had last ran in my wolf form, which I now realize was a bad idea, when my wolf almost took over wanting to teach Ace a  lesson.

My wolf chase after some few animals, not catching any of them since she always got distracted, After a while, we saw a deer and  chased it, I was somewhat surprised they were big animals here. Since most of the animals here were transported here because they couldn't freely enter to hibernate or migrate  because of the border.

The deer ran for a while, my wolf just chased not increasing her speed, after a while of running, the deer starts to slow down due to fatigue. My wolf took the moment to attack, she pounces on the deer and sink's her teeth into his flesh in such a way that the animal couldn't move, once the deer finally stops struggling she rip it's head off his body and starts devouring the carcass.

Once she's done eating, she continues the run, after a while of running we hear the sound of running water, I let her use her heightened senses to try and locate the water. Eventually, we see a stone covered with some leaves, she stops at the stone and starts to pace around it, I was about to take control and continue the run. When she put an ear on the stone, the sound of water gets louder.

She pace around for a while, trying to find an entrance. After a while she walks into a pile of long green grasses that fell like curtains, hiding the entrance of what's look like a small cave.  She walks in alertly once we enter the cave, we see a small lake it was really pretty and not too big yet not too small, it had grasses all around the area.

She immediately goes closer to the lake and start drinking water, once she's done she sits near the lake in piece, a bee zoomed around moving from flower to flower that were dispersed here and there.

After a while of just sitting, I decide to run back, I took control from Lia and ran for a while before heading back to the camp, I sniffed every where for scents before stopping at the back of a familiar tree,
even though there was no scent around I  was still cautious.

I shift back and remove my clothes from where I placed it in the tree, I dress up and  jog back to the camp, I head over to the kitchen, walking past Dante and Sosa who were cuddled on the couch. I grabbed a few snacks from the kitchen and a drink from the fridge before heading up to my room. I munch on my snacks and gulp down the drink while looking out the window.

I didn't practically rush myself, since today was a Sunday so I didn't have anything to do. The camp didn't have and didn't allow any electronic device for some reason, so I had decided on Monday that I would visit the library. I passed the door of the library on my way to swords/dagger class and had decided to check it out, I had completely forgotten about immediately after the tour was over

I had decided I would check it out on Tuesday, but I was busy throughout that day, on wednesday I was free, but forgot about it and didn't remember until I was about to fall asleep, and I was too lazy to stand up. On Thursday, Lia had told me that she wanted to run in the morning, but in the afternoon, she was still restless, I didn't know why though, so I had to use my break to take her on a run. On Friday, I was also busy, Dominic our swords/dagger teacher had asked me to help him out in sorting out some of the equipments.
