taeyong sent you a message!

As Rosé was driving to drop everyone back at their house, Jennie received a text and she nearly squealed from excitement.

"Now what are you smiling at your phone for? Got a cute text?" Lisa teased.

"No, it's just Taeyong." Jennie said, brushing it away like it wasn't a big deal.

"You got his number?" The girls said in unison.

"He asked, so I gave it." Jennie shrugged.

"Jaehyun asked for mine too!" Rosé giggled.

"Watch the road, Rosé! Don't want us crashing because you're fangirling over Jaehyun." Lisa joked.

"Yuta gave me his Instagram, but he didn't ask for my number." Jisoo said halfheartedly.

"At least you got something, that's still a big thing isn't it?" Lisa said, comforting her.

"Lisa, how was Ten?" Jisoo asked.

Lisa formed a grin on her face. "He was really funny! But he was nice too, and he can dance! I didn't expect him to be a great dancer, and honestly I think it was kind of attractive."

"Now you've got yourself a dance partner that's just as good as you!" Jisoo cheered. "How about you, Rosé? How'd it go with Jaehyun?"

"He was really sweet, and I can tell he was a little nervous but he got himself together. He kept beating me at ski-ball." Rosé frowned. "But other than that he was really kind. And not to mention he's really good looking." The girls nodded in agreement at that last statement.

"How about you, Jisoo? How was Yuta?" Jennie asked, before they could ask her.

"Honestly I'm a little intimidated by him, but it's not in a bad way! He just naturally looks cold but when he smiles or laughs it's the complete opposite. He asked if I wanted to play that VR game and he paid for it, so that was nice of him." Jisoo said.

It was Jennie's turn, she prepared for the moment they ask about Taeyong.

"Jennie! How was Taeyong?" Lisa asked enthusiastically.

"The same thing as the other guys. He was nice, generous, even bought me boba, and he got me this toy from the plushie claw games." Jennie said dully.

"Anything else? I feel like you're hiding something." Rosé said. She had this almost superpower-like skill where she can sense something is off.

Jennie took a deep breath. "He tried to kiss me." And the girls' jaw dropped.

"What did you do?" Lisa asked.

"I gently stopped him, and told him I have a boyfriend." Jennie buried her face in her hands. "But the thing is, why do I regret not kissing him too?"

Jisoo was in the backseat with Jennie, and she pulled her over to comfort her.

"He was so nice about it, he apologized and didn't get angry. Unlike Hyojun, he would get angry when I wouldn't do something and I'm just not used to feeling treated good by someone I like, does that make sense?" Jennie said, thinking of all of the bad things Hyojun has done.

"Jennie, do you think you want to tell them now?" Rosé suggested, and Lisa and Jisoo listened with their full attention.

"Whenever Hyojun gets angry, he lashes out at me. Sometimes it's better when it's through the phone, because I can bear his yelling rather than in person. It's like he's getting angrier by the day, and I hate it so much I'm tired of it. But I'm scared if I break up with him he'll hurt me." Jennie explained. "But then I met Taeyong, I'm starting to really like him but it's just the guilt of cheating that's preventing me from doing the things I want."
