"Let's try to handle this situation maturely." Mr. Kim started, but Jennie rolled her eyes as he was the one who was acting immature. "Mrs. Lee, Taeyong, take a seat." Mr. Kim said, leading them into their living room.

"By the end of this meeting I expect to have full understanding of what is going on!" Mrs. Lee sternly said, making her point as she sat down on the living room sofa. Despite her initial assertiveness towards the situation, she couldn't help but notice her surroundings and the luxury of the home.

Jennie sat on the other couch with Mr. Kim facing Mrs. Lee and Taeyong. She wanted to look at him, but she just couldn't. She stares at her fingers as the adults talk.

"The reason why Taeyong no longer works at the cinemas is due to violation of professionalism." Mr. Kim said. "I'm not sure what type of relationship he has been pursuing with my daughter, but it's been going on for a while. I don't believe it's appropriate for my employees to be having an interest for my daughter, due to past circumstances it did not end well."

"Taeyong? Is this true?" Mrs. Lee asked him with a look of disappointment. Taeyong looked at Jennie, and sighed. He had to make up for his childish actions when they were texting earlier.

"I didn't mean for it to be this way. I-I never meant to for me to end up having feelings for your daughter, Mr. Kim. I-It just happened, it's not my fault that I feel this way for her." Taeyong explained, but his eyes stayed on Jennie

"Can you tell us specifically when you encountered Jennie, and how you found yourself learning of these feelings?" Mr. Kim asked.

Jennie looked at Taeyong with anticipating eyes. She was curious as well. "I'm going to be one hundred percent honest. I really didn't mean for it to get this far, but I was simply working my shift and a group of four girls walk in. I thought it was just going to be one of those things where you see a cute stranger, you move on. How was I supposed to know that she was your daughter?" Taeyong explained.

"Out of those four girls, you just simply found yourself interested in Jennie the most?" Mr. Kim asked.

"Yeah, I didn't know who she was. I didn't even expect to talk to her that night, or any other time after that! I swear, I really had no intentions with her that night. I really just thought that she was pretty, that's it." Taeyong said.

"However, that wasn't the case wasn't it? Even though you said you didn't have intentions to know her further, how did you end up getting this intimate?" Mr. Kim asked, trying to get each and every detail.

"I promise you Mr. Kim, the next time I saw Jennie was purely a coincidence. By that time I already knew that she was your daughter, and we just kind of ran into them at the mall." Taeyong continued.

"You knew that she was my daughter, yet you still continued to converse and engage with her?" Mr. Kim asked.

"Dad—"

"Let Taeyong explain, then we can hear your side of all of this." Mr. Kim said sternly.

"It wasn't just me who saw a pretty girl that night. Jaehyun did, too. And the girl he happened to fall for was Jennie's best friend, Rosé. But of course, their relationship is alright because Rosé is no way related to you. Those two continued to see each other, and being their best friends, Jennie and I conveniently saw each other whenever they did hang out. The more I saw Jennie, the stronger my feelings grew for her. I still stand by my opinion that our relationship isn't wrong, it's just that you're concerned with reputation and yourself!" Taeyong said with spite at the end.

"Taeyong, Taeyong, calm down." Mrs. Lee calmed him.

"And that'a basically it. The way I felt for Jennie was too much for me to resist, and she and I have mutual feelings. So why keep us apart? I told you this once but I'll tell you again, Mr. Kim. I love your daughter, and there's no way you're separating us unless she tells me she's had enough of me!" Taeyong stood up and spoke his mind. Mrs. Lee was begging for him to sit down and calm himself, because she thought he was getting on Mr. Kim's bad side.
