Jennie was stuck at home all day long, and was becoming increasingly bored by the second. She usually was with her friends or texting on the phone, but it seemed like this one specific day no one was online. The entire day she was anything but productive, she binged watched movies and took a shower and cooked herself lunch. Before she knew it it was already evening.

She found herself going downstairs getting another snack. The whole day she was in her lounge clothing, comfortable but unproductive. As she opened the cupboard and looked for a snack, her father came home from work earlier than she expected.

"Dad, what are you doing home so early?" She asked, biting a piece off her cookie.

"I forgot something, but I'm going back right away." He replied. "It's for the inspection."

"That's where you observe your employees and check the workplace, right?" Jennie asked.

"That's right, I have to see if everything is in good condition. The machines, projectors, and the workers as well." Mr. Kim replied.

"Can't you just hire like, a technician?" Jennie asked, confused as to why her father did side tasks that managers usually don't have to do.

Mr. Kim chuckled. "Technicians can't tell if employees are behaving right."

"I guess you're right. Can I come? I've been bored all day, all my friends are busy, and there's nothing to do." Jennie sighed.

"I won't be home midnight, though. You think you can wait?" Mr. Kim asked.

"I don't mind." Jennie said. "Let me go put on some shoes."

Jennie ran back up to her room and put on her easy pair of sneakers, her favorite hoodie and ran back downstairs. She definitely wasn't all glammed up like she usually was, but it's one of those lazy days where she didn't care about her appearance. She returned back downstairs and followed her father into the car, and sat comfortably in the passenger seat. This was a double opportunity for her. To see her friends, and get out of the house at the same time.

They arrived at the cinemas, and Mr. Kim immediately walked inside. He told Jennie he can go inside the theater rooms if she was ever bored, or she can just hang around until it was midnight. Jennie wanted to see how he did the inspections, so she trailed along. The first thing he checked was back in the kitchen. Mr. Kim and Jennie right behind him watched as several employees prepared people's orders.

"Hey, Mr. Kim." Jaehyun said as he walked in the back.

"Workin' hard or hardly workin'?" Mr. Kim said jokingly. "I'm just kidding with you, Jaehyun."

Jaehyun chuckled nervously and got back to work. He shot Jennie a glance and she smiled.

"Dad, why don't you introduce me to all your workers?" Jennie suggested.

"If that's what you want." Mr. Kim said. "This here is Jaehyun, respectful boy, he does a great job manning the ticket booth." Mr. Kim said, pointing to him.

They walked to the other part of the back, where Chaeyeon was preparing food.

"That there is Chaeyeon, employee of the month. She works very hard." He said, as Jennie admired her. Chaeyeon noticed her and smiled.

"Now if we go outside to the cashiers, we have Yuta and Ten. Right now they're shifting, they usually do other jobs than this." He said, standing by the doorway that separates the back room and the cashiers.

Mr. Kim took Jennie into the theater rooms where people worked in making the projectors function. Taeyong was in one of the production rooms, sitting down as the movie rolled. It was a little dark and hard to see, but Taeyong managed.
