"Funny seeing you again."
"What do you want?" Taeyong snapped.
"All I'm asking is for you to stay away from Jennie, and this conversation should be done." Hyojun said.
"You can't keep controlling her. You don't own her." Taeyong defended, keeping himself alert.
"What are you to her anyway?" Hyojun questioned with lack of sincerity.
"Why does it matter to you?" Taeyong said sharply.
"Listen here, Jennie is mine. I don't need anyone like you getting in the way." Hyojun grabbed him by his collar.
"Why, you feeling threatened?" Taeyong said with a smug look.
Hyojun furrowed his eyebrows and threw a punch straight for Taeyong's face. Taeyong stumbled, but got right back up.
"Don't be so insecure. She doesn't want you." Taeyong continued to be more passive rather than aggressive. It only made Hyojun angrier, and Sicheng nor Johnny held him back.
"You don't know that!" Hyojun threw another blow to his jaw, and Taeyong realized he would get himself into another fight. Knowing he was outnumbered, he had to defend himself.
Taeyong gave into the violence, knowing he'd end up losing anyway. He was struck in the ribs, stomach, back, and his face. Once his body couldn't take it any longer, his body collapsed to the ground. He screamed in agony, and his vision blurred. Distorted, he heard his friends yelling as another fight scene broke out. Taeyong couldn't see it, but dark bruises began to form on his eye. He coughed, and he saw a dark scarlet liquid come out. His entire body felt weak, and he couldn't master up the energy to get back up. He was heavily beat, and his whole body was in pain. Naturally, his body couldn't handle the immense hurt he just encountered, so his eyes slowly blinked.
Not ready to give in just yet, he heard the loud blaring of the sirens and the flashes of red and blue. He heard the sounds of continuous fighting and groaning, but Taeyong's last bit of energy drained out. His eyes shut, and lost consciousness.
But that was all he could remember.

Jennie and Mr. Kim sat in Taeyong's room with his mom, hoping he'd wake up soon. However, the doctor mentioned that Taeyong's unconsciousness could lead to a short coma.
"Mrs. Lee, I'm so sorry about your son. Security should have been more tight and I didn't enforce it enough." Mr. Kim offered his apologies.
"I know you didn't mean for this to happen, but I just hope my boy is alright. He's all I have." She cried on his hospital bed. Jennie could only feel sympathy for his mother.
"Once Taeyong gets discharged from the hospital, I'll take care of the bill. And I'm going to let him off for a few weeks to get better, I really am so sorry this happened." Mr. Kim said.
"I can't let you do that-"
"Please, it's the least I can do." He insisted.
"When we can, I can pay you back." Mrs. Lee said, but Mr. Kim shook his head.
"I'm doing this because I want to, please accept it." He said. Taeyong's mom couldn't say no, he was too convincing. She finally accepted his help. "I'm going to go find the secretary and tell them to place the expenses under my name. Jennie, stay here."
As he stepped out of the room, a tear slipped out of Jennie's eye, and she quickly wiped it. However, his mother quickly noticed it and faced her.
"Do you know my son?" She asked with a warm smile. Jennie took a seat next to her.
