"Dad, please, listen." Jennie tried to pry on her father to try suppress his anger. But Mr. Kim already felt betrayed once again, and he already felt like keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. It was becoming so redundant for him that he didn't want to hear another word.

"Do you want our business to close?! Do you want another scandal out?!" Mr. Kim raised his voice. "Taeyong, what are you doing messing around with my daughter? I thought you were different."

Taeyong began to stammer. "I-It's not what it looks like Mr. Kim—"

"He is different, dad! This situation is different! Taeyong is not like those other guys! The other workers would slack on their work, harass girls, and they did it right under your nose! If it weren't for me telling you, you would have never known!" Jennie argued back.

"You simply cannot be messing around with another employee of mine. What will the public think? Especially with what's already happened they're not going to take this so lightly!" Mr. Kim's voice boomed.

"You don't understand! This time Taeyong and I share mutual feelings for one another. Your other workers would just make a move on girls without their permission!" Jennie shot back.

"How long has this been going on?" Mr. Kim said, his fingers on his temple.

"Why does it matter?" Jennie asked in a rude tone.

"Don't speak to me that way!" Mr. Kim said. He hated when he and his little girl would get in a fight, but he felt this one was for the right reasons.

"Like a month. Why does it matter? He doesn't do anything wrong—"

"He did do something wrong. Taeyong, you knew about the scandal with Jennie and the four previous night shift workers. How could you still continue to be with my daughter when you knew there's a possible chance that people could find out? That would ruin my rep, and Jennie's as well! And her school reputation is already falling because of my mistake!" Mr. Kim said directly at Taeyong. "How could you be so selfish? Didn't you worry how people would react if they knew my daughter was messing around with another one of my employees?"

"Mr. Kim, in my defense—" Taeyong started, but was interrupted with an angry Jennie.

"Why are you making it seem like I'm the bad guy? Like I'm the one who was harassing girls and slacking on work? Don't make me the villain, it was those boys you hired. I didn't do anything wrong. And I could care less about my reputation! Why should that matter?" Jennie explained, ears fuming.

"Listen closely. People already think bad about you. I've heard what people said. If you continue this thing you have with Taeyong, the public will jump to their conclusions again, saying that my daughter keeps getting involved. I don't want that. I don't want them to think of you that way." Mr. Kim explained a little gentler than his previous tone.

"I don't care what people think! Why does it matter what the public thinks?! This is between me and Taeyong, it's none of their business! I'm sorry if they have different versions of me in their minds, but you out of everyone should know the truth. Does it make you embarrassed that the public thinks of me so lowly?" Jennie asked, crossing her arms.

"It kind of does. You're a Kim, especially, a YGX Companies Kim. What you're doing right now is inappropriate and could ruin our image!" Mr. Kim scolded.

Jennie scoffed. "So this is what it's all about? To save our high status name? It was never about truly protecting me from harassers and predators, huh? You just wanted to save your reputation! You didn't care about what happened to me at work, didn't you?" Jennie said, verge of tears.
