"Thank god you two are back together, Harry was going mad!" Lyra giggled at Ron's comment, nudging her boyfriend's side. "Poor Cho. Asked if I could take some of Cedric's stuff." Ron had a faint smile on his face, "I'm sure Harry's rejection didn't help." The ginger giggled.
"Ron shut up, you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon." The four paused, bursting into a fit of laughter at Hermione's comment.

Lyra had joined Harry in his bed for the night, stirring and mumbling in her sleep ever so slightly, Harry's grip on her waist tightening as he experienced a nightmare. Harry jolted awake, causing Lyra to fully wake up, summoning McGonagall through a message with her wand.
The older woman showed up, not bothering to ask what Lyra was doing in her boyfriend's dorm, let alone bed. The two women, including Ron, rushed the boy to Dumbledore's office, the Weasley's already there.
Harry described his horrid dream, Lyra had been under the arm of McGonagall, her boyfriend's hand still lingering in hers.
The bespectacled boy called out to the headmaster, the old man ignoring him, ordering the portraits around them. "Look at me!" Lyra flinched, letting go of Minerva to reach for her Harry's shoulder. "What's happening to me?" the auburn haired girl embraced his shaking figure, his head buried into her shoulder.
"You wished to see me, headmaster?" Snape.
"Oh Severus, I'm afraid we can't wait, not even until morning. Lyra, Harry, I think it's best if you went with Professor Snape."
Once the trio were in Snape's office, Harry had been pushed into a seat, Lyra stood against a desk.
"It appears there's a connection between your mind and Lord Voldemort. Whether he knows of that connection is unclear."
"If he knows about it then?"
"He'll be able to read your mind, control it, unhinge it." Lyra answered.
"It was often the Dark Lord's pleasure to invade the mind of his victims, torturing them into madness. When they were finally begging for death-"
"He killed them." Lyra's multicoloured eyes met Snape's dark ones. "You'll be teaching Harry Occlumency, I suppose?"
"Yes, Lyra. Do you have a problem with that, being a legilimens." Snape sneered at the girl.
"I'm afraid we're not on first name basis, Professor."
"What's Occlumency?"
"It sheilds you from any legilimens taking control and accessing your mind." Lyra turned back to Harry.
"In these lessons, either Miss Lexson or I will attempt to penetrate your mind, and you will attempt to resist." Snape readied his wand, casting 'Legilimens'.
Harry groaned, "You're bothering him! Stop!" Lyra pleaded, her eyes pooling as she watched her loved one struggle. Snape stopped. "Miss Lexson, I believe it's your turn. Feel free to use the nice memories, you and Mr Potter share." Lyra nodded, cheeks burning.

Harry and Lyra came home to an empty household. The dog was at headquarters and her father and brother were god knows where. The two instantly wrapped their arms around eachother, venturing to the bedroom in a fit of giggles.
Later that night, the couple layed, tangled in the sheets like always, reminiscing. "Remember the Yule Ball? Where you-"
"Where I first kissed you, sober of course. You looked absolutely gorgeous." Lyra giggled, a blush evident on her cheeks. "I still have the dress." the girl got up, blanket wrapped around her and pulled the blue dress from out of her closet. Harry grinned, pulling the auburn haired girl back to bed as the dress fell to the floor.
"That was a year ago. Wow. We've been together for almost a year."
"You know what, forget our anniversary being in July. Our anniversary is now officially on the 24th of December, the day you kissed me." Lyra concluded, a grin overtaking her lips as HArry hovered over her. "Fine with me."
-----
It was officially Christmas eve, and the couple were celebrating in the kitchen by cooking together. All was happy until the front door opened, revealing Cetus Flexson.
"Dad?" Lyra almost dropped the spatula in her hand, Harry appearing next to her.
"Hello, Lyra. Harry. What are you up to?" The man grinned as if nothing was wrong. Lyra's blood boiled, her hand gripping Harry's. "Where have you been?"
"Oh you know, travelling. I went to the Middle East! It was lovely."
"Good to know you had fun abandoning me. Now if you'll excuse us, Harry and I are heading out to celebrate."
"I didn't mean to abandon you, Lyra! I needed to tell you I've decided to move. You're brother's graduating in July, so you would be in school here and would fly to visit me-"
"Moving? Moving where?"
"Dubai."
"You're outrageous. Come on, Harry."
"I'm leaving today."
"Good to know." The girl spat.

Christmas with the Weasleys had brought a smile to Lyra's face, even if Lyra was a tad bit suspicious when Harry needed to talk to Sirius and Remus alone, holding two forms.
The table passed around food and gifts, wishing each other a Happy Christmas. Mrs Weasley had knitted Lyra a black jumper with the letter L in white, bringing a homey feeling in Lyra's heart. When Harry Potter entered the room with Sirius Black behind him Lyra smiled, hugging her boyfriend mouthing a quick 'What did he want to talk about?' to Sirius. The girl rolled her eyes when Sirius shrugged, flashing her his signature smirk.
"Toast! To Mr Harry Potter, without whom I would not be here."
"Harry." the group chorused, raising their drinks. Lyra beamed up at her boyfriend, snuggling into his side.
-----
Lyra Lexson and Sirius Black stood in the Black tapestry room, grinning at their burned off portraits while sharing a drink. "He wants to marry you. Harry." Lyra smiled at this information. "I know. I told him that I would. We're not engaged though."
"I think, with the war coming, if we were to ask you in the nearby future, you should say yes. Get hitched before the war."
"Maybe. I'm not sure he would ask, we're still young. And don't you need a parent or guardian signature to authorize underage marriage?"
"Remus and I would authorize it. Not pushing you into though. If it does happen." Lyra nodded. Remus had only stopped by for a moment before dinner, hugging the girl and giving her a gift which was sat in her and Harry's bedroom, unopened. "You're growing up too fast." Sirius sighed.
Harry stepped into the room, eyes trained on the pair. "Harry, come in." Lyra grabbed his hand, leading the boy in. "Welcome to the Black tapestry room. This is the black family tree." Sirius pointed at his burned spot, "My mother did that after I ran away at sixteen. I went to your dad's." Sirius' hand redirected to Lyra's mum. Aquila Black, who'd also been burned off, along with her two children. "This is Lyra's mum. Got burned off after she fell pregnant. Lyra and her brother, too." The girl left the room, muttering her goodbyes and heading to her room, allowing the men to talk alone.
When she reached her bedroom, Lyra eyed the small box and letter sitting on the dresser, given to her by Remus Lupin.
