Nothing around her was registered into her mind as Lyra raced towards the cries of "I killed Sirius Black!" Ignoring Harry's yells from behind.
Harry pulled Lyra to a halt, forcing her to stop thrashing as they landed into a puddle, Fenrir Greyback a mere couple of feet away. "Stupefy!" and with that, he became a black cloud, fleeing the scene. "Lyra!" The familiar call from Remus Lupin motivated Lyra as she shot spells at any Death Eater she could hit, Harry doing the same.
Remus and Tonks had apparated, joining the couple in the fight as everything paused for a breif moment, and not a single noise was made.
Black clouds of smoke had blown through the Burrow, the group rushing over the the Weasleys who now stood outside their burning home, tears welling in everyone's eyes.
-----
Lyra walked silently through the halls of Hogwarts alongside Harry and Hermione.
"It was so easy for them to get you. You're bloody lucky you weren't killed. You have to realize who you are, Harry." Hermione pestered.
"He knows who he is, alright? Let it go." Lyra was exasperated, wanting the conversation to end. she muttered an apology when she realized the tone she'd just used.
The trio spotted Ron with Lavender Brown, only hearing a loud 'Won-Won' being squealed from said girl. "Excuse me while I go and vomit." Hermione turned to leave, unable to as Lyra caught her hand. She sent the girl a reassuring smile before walking away.
-----
Lyra stood against a wall in Dumbledore's office, focusing hard on the scene in Harry's thoughts as his face was submerged in the pensieve.
Tom Riddle went to Slughorn.
The bespectacled boy was pulled back to reality, panting. "Confused? I'd be surprised if you both weren't."
"Well I don't understand. What happened?"
"It's the most important memory I've collected."
"it's also a lie." Lyra spoke, both men turned to her. "It's been tampered with, by Slughorn. Because he's ashamed." Lyra answered all the questions in the boy's mind.
"I asked you to get to know Professor Slughorn, and you have done so."
"Now you want us to get him to divulge into his true memory?" Dumbledore nodded at the girl. "This memory is everything. Without it, we are blind. Without it, we leave the fate of our world to chance. You have no choice. You must not fail."
-----
Lyra anxiously waited for Harry, hoping the boy had succeeded in getting the memory from Slughorn. She snuggled into the sheets that held the familiar scent of her boyfriend, book in hand. She had grown a liking to muggle books, and was reading the tale of a young lady known as Cinderella. If only Lyra had her own fairy godmother.
The door opened slightly, Harry slipping through before closing again, the boy slipping underneath the sheets next to Lyra. "What're you reading?"
"Oh this muggle book. It's about a girl, and she has this evil stepmother and these step sisters- Oh I'm so stupid, you probably already know, you grew up with muggles." The auburn haired girl put the book on her nightstand, turning to face the boy beside her. "Yeah, but I like hearing you talk."
"Don't go all cheesy and lovesick on me, Potter. Any success with Slughorn?" Her face fell when Harry admitted his failed attempt. "We'll figure out a way."
The moment was ruined by Ron Weasley, who'd stumbled into the room in an almost drunk manner. Lyra caught a glimpse of the chocolate wrappers in the ginger's hand, smiling slightly. "Had a little snack, did we?"
