17. Never leave you Again

I had absolutely no classes with Mia today which sucked. Our schedules had all been changed according to our grades to help the 'slow learners' keep up. So immediately after catchup class we walked to our respective lockers where we would find our new time tables. This was the first time I would spent an entire day without Mia since we started dating and it felt weird to say the least. I got to the lockers and people were acting strange today. They were giving me friendly smiles, moving out of my way, hell, 12 girls tried to throw themselves at me before I even got to my locker. I was surprised to say the least until I remembered that everyone saw me with Uncle Blake the last time I was here, I had headlined the news a few times and I kicked Philip's ass and got THEE girl. Right. After my struggle, I finally reached my locker and immediately I felt a presence behind me. Oh God, what now?

I turned around to meet sally and Brie in all their doll glory grinning at me. Honestly thought, despite their attitude and attire, they were pretty. Obviously not as pretty as my Mia, she was a Dynamite. It was almost time for class and I was praying the bell rings already.

"Hey Daviii" They said in union almost as if they had practised it

"Hei Girls." I returned politely. My brain already trying to sent curses at the girls but I managed to hold them in. I was really not in the mood for a cat fight so I tried to end the conversation as quickly as possible afterwards.

"So ehmm we were wondering if you wannet to like spent time with us on the popular's table?" Sally asked while Brie was on her phone. From the corner of my eye, I saw Eddy starring daggers at me. I also wanted to avoid a fight at all costs as the press was now watching me very very closely.

"No but thank you for the offer." I rejected trying to walk away only to be pulled by my wrist and turned back to face Sally's attempt at seducing me. I hate being cornered.

"Don't tell me you still want to spent time with that loser friend of yours. You are a freakin Billionaire for God's Sake, you should run the school by now." Oh now she has done it "And I don't understand what you see in that slut Mia. I mean I would be much better for you. I would take care of your every need." THE NERVE! I think she just said that, she did didn't she. She just insulted the two women in my life in one sentence. Oh that does it. All my restrain gone, I stepped closer to her face, good thing I always have lemon breath spray so I am sure my breath wasn't bad. I looked at her dead in the eye and said;

"Listen you good for nothing barbie doll wanna be skank, If you ever talk shit about Mia or Elsa again, I will shove your oversized make up kit up your grand canyon sized vagina, are we clear!?" Okey that was unnecesarily hush. I heard the crowd I didn't see gathering roar and that seemed to upset Sally. She slapped me real hard before storming out Brie following close behind her. I just walked to my next class and everyone was looking at me like I was death.  basically the whole day went on like that. I couldn't help but notice Elsa was acting strange. She has been avoiding me all day today so lunch time, I made it my mission to find her and find out what's up.

She was sitting all alone on our usual table looking all sad. My first thought was Robert who was laughing carelessly on the jock's table with his soccer teammates. Mia had to spent a few more time in catchup class than I did which included half of her lunch hour. I went to get my meal and set besides Elsa who didn't even acknowledge my presence, that is new. Her usually chirpy self was sad and quiet.

"Hei Elsa. What is wrong?" I broke the eyes. She finally looked at me and her stare was cold, her eyes tearing up.

"What's wrong?! What's wrong?! Every-fucking-thing is wrong. Appearently Robert was playing me. It was a fucking bet all along and I was too caught up to notice. I mean why the fuck would he even look at me? I..." She said basically on one breath, tears spilling out of her eyes. She hiccuped the last part and seemed to struggle to breath. Unable to see her like this, I stood up and pulled my chair besides her

"You are precious Elsa. He is a fucking Douchebag and no one hurts you while am there no one! I will make him pay I swear." I vowed and tried to hug her lovingly only to get pushed away and she looked at me with disgust

"That is it, you weren't there! You are a fucking hypocrite! You say all these sweet nothings but you know whats the worst part? You. You lied to me. To hid your identity from me, what is it? Did you not trust me? Was I the poor girl you pitied and used to divet people's attention away from you? Answer me damn it!" She shouted at me, people looking at her trying to shut her up, I Ignored them and looked at her. I am so selfish. I have been so caught up with my own life I forgot about the one person who has been by my side through it all. The one person who I protected. I turned my back on her and they hurt her the worst way possible.

"You are right. I have been selfish. I deserve your anger. But I am asking you to forgive me. I did not mean to abundon you. I never used you Elsa. I was afraid. You were my first and only real friend, I didn't want to lose you. I swear to you, I meant everything I have said to you. I do care about you. I promise you it will never happen again." I pleaded but something I had said seemed to have pissed her off more.

"Lose me? Is that how little you think of me? I have literally told you everything about my life but you think if I knew who you are I would leave or be with you for your money?" She accused

"Woah wait! I didn't mean it like that. Lose you as in death. They would kill you, the people who killed my parents. They would hunt you down and kill you if you were the only person who knew. I have been hiding from them for 4 years now and you knowing would put you in danger. I do not mind having a target on my back but I would never forgive myself if I put it on yours too." A single tear involuntarily left my eyes. "I promise you Elsa, I will never leave you again." With that, she hugged me tightly and I hugged her back.

"You better not." She actually smiled genuinly. "I missed you. And You were totally crying I saw that." She laughed causing me to join her.

"I was not. A mosquito entered my eye midsentence." I lied playfully and she laughed harder. But then I caught a Robert looking at our table clearly mad he didn't break Elsa. Note to self: I am going to run him over later. "What happened with Robert?" Wanting to clear the elephant in the room before I did something drastic

Her smile fell, she looked at him and as their eyes met, hers fell to her feet immediately and she looked back at me, the devil actually smiled. I swear these person has a death wish. "Well, after you were gone, I was alone. He was there for me. Protecting me, caring for me and making me feel special you know. Then one day, we kissed. A real kiss. It was the first time I felt those emotions since Mike died and I was prepared to offer him my heart. Then a week ago, he asked me to visit his place just to chill. We..." she started chocking on her breath again

"Ssshhh! Ssshhh! Elsa, you dont have to continue." I urged while rubbing her back but she shook her head and proceeded.

"He could have been my first. If it was not for Brie, I could have lost it to that basturd.Before I left for his house, I was approached by Brie. She told me of his plan to Record our sex session. When I arrived, I looked around and found the hidden cameras. I left immediately. I am such a fool Dave and I paid the price for it." She sobbed. All I was seeing was red.

"That son of..." i said pushing my chair back ready to fight but she stopped me and what she said next surprised me.

"Don't worry about it, Brie and I have a plan." She said with a small smile on her face.

"Brie? You two are what, buddies now?" I raised my eyebrow. I don't know what I expected but definately not a blush.

"Something like that." Oh boy, why did I miss all the action.
