Mia Brown

It has been a while since I last saw David. After talking to my dad, he left without saying a word. He told me over the phone when he left for South Africa and when he returned. His uncle had asked my dad's permission for me to go on a roadtrip with him and his sister.  So here I am, dressed in a white crop top, blue jeans and my nike sneakers. Mr. May drove me to the Peterson household. He dropped me off in one of the most beautiful mansions. It was smaller than my home but well designed. It was white and parts that were not walls were glass. It looked more homey and cosy. It was in the middle of a large yard, and secluded. No wander the paparazzi never saw David leave this yard. The driveway from the gate to the mansion was about half a mile. High walls on all four sides. Blake Peterson looks to value his privacy a lot.

I walked to the door and before I knocked, the door was opened by two over excited males. One looked like David. His skin tone was a bit lighter and he was very clean. His about the same height too if not a bit taller. If I didn't know that he was David's father's twin brother, I would think am seeing a ghost. Near him was a huge man. He looked very very familiar. Aha! The cop that accompanied David to my house. He looked a bit different now. He had a full beard and shorter hair. They looked so happy together. They then let me in.

"Ehmm, Mia, Darling." Blake started. "Thank you for everything you did for Dave. I have never seen him this happy since... since my brother Ben and Rebecca died. I owe you the world my love and if you ever need anything, anything at all, just call me." He continued wiping away tears making me smile. And just then, David's loud laughter filled the house causing me to blush.

"By the way, this is Adrien Doe." He introduced the huge man.

"Nice to finally meet the famous Mia Brown. My daughter actually attends the same school as you do. Brie Doe."

"Brie? Wow. She is actually a friend of mine, is she here now?" I asked. Then it hit me, Brie and David are going to be kinda siblings. They rarely see eye to eye. Oh my God! This is going to be a disaster.

"Yes she is. She is going with you together with her girlfriend Elsa." Adrien added. This is going to be an interesting vacation. I didn't know Brie was gay not that I had any problem with it, just that she hid it from us. I nodded and went to the living room. I leaned against the door frame watching David laugh at Brie and Elsa who were standing by the staircase in an intimate position causing David to laugh even harder.

"Hei everyone. What did I miss?" I said deciding to make my presence known while approaching David. I really missed him so when our lips met, things go heated real quick. We were both hungry for each other and stop before things got out of hand.

"Only that your hedgehog was hitting on my girlfriend." Brie said in a very annoyed voice. "Can we go now, it is a long drive to Sedona."

I looked at David with a 'whats her problem' look and he mouthed 'overpossessive' which cause me to laugh

"Yes we MAY." emphasizing the MAY part to annoy Brie. He took both his and my luggage to a black Volkswagen SUV. Since only he and I had driver's licences, we would exchange and Brie and Elsa would sit at the back. Once we were all sitted, we said a quick prayer at Elsa's request before we drove off. The couple at the back was very cosy and cuddling. They were in their own little bubble and I have never seen Brie so authentic and so happy. I guess we didn't know what we needed until we had it. We were both so lucky.

"What?" David asked. I didn't realise I had been starring at him like a Goddamn lovestruck girl but you know what? I didn't care

"Just counting my blessings." I smiled at him. He looked at me for a second and back at the road.
