Spencer Reid X Reider One shots and imagines

A/N: I've been watching some Arrow lately, I'm rewatching it. I got an idea for a one shot so that explains the title. I guess you could kind of consider this a crossover. In this one, I'm giving you a whole backstory.

You were Y/n Hotchner and you were not a member of the BAU like your cousin Aaron. You were a lawyer, the ADA to be exact. (Assistant District Attorney)  You met your boyfriend, Spencer Reid, on one of his cases last year. You have been dating for the past year. You lived in Quantico like him. You were from Charleston, West Virginia. The team had a case there. Apparently there was some vigilante there and as soon as bodies dropped, the FBI was called in.

You were also in Charleston but you had no idea that Spencer and Aaron were too. It was getting late and you were at the cemetery. You were visiting your dad's grave. He died five years ago in his line of work, he was a police officer.

You got a phone from one of your old friends' mom, Moira Queen.

You answered, "Hello, Mrs. Queen"

Mrs. Queen told you, "Oliver's been arrested. Captain Lance is sure he's the vigilante putting arrows in people"

"That's terrible but is there a reason you're calling me?"

"I know you're in town and I need you to defend Oliver"

"Mrs. Queen, I'm not sure that is the greatest idea"

"I'll pay you $500,000"

"Woah, that's a lot of money. Yeah, I'll make my way to the station right now"

You hung up and made your way over to the station. Tommy, another old friend of yours, was there too along with Thea, Oliver's little sister. It looked they were at the club which didn't surprise you at all. You also noticed that the FBI was there, your cousin's team to be specific. You saw Morgan, Rossi, Prentiss, and JJ but you didn't see your boyfriend or your cousin. They must be interrogating Oliver. They all looked at you, wondering why you there.

You went into the interrogation room. You weren't surprised to see your boyfriend and your cousin interrogating your old friend, Oliver, who is also your ex-boyfriend but Spencer didn't know that.

You said, "My client will no longer be answering any questions"

"You're kidding" remarked Spencer.

"You two should know that we Hotchners never kid"

Oliver said, "She's right. I don't think she's ever made a joke the entire time I've known"

"Oliver, don't talk" you told him.

Spencer and Aaron left the interrogation room, probably to tell the team that Oliver lawyered up.

You hadn't seen Oliver in five years. He went on a boat, the Queen's Gambit, and it sunk. He was stranded on an uncharted island in the north China sea for the last five years before being rescued. He was presumed dead. You thought he was dead for five years but now you were standing right in front of this man.

You said, "Oliver, I have to trust my clients and if I'm being honest, I don't trust you. I need you to be honest with me"

Oliver told you, "I'm sorry about Sara but you have to believe me, I didn't kill those people"

"Okay, Oliver. I believe you. And I'm not doing this because of you. I'm doing this because your mom asked me to. I have a boyfriend and I'm pretty sure he's really mad at me right now. I really like him, Oliver"

"Then why are you defending me?"

"Because Oliver, I just told you. For your mom. She helped pay for my law school and she offered me a butt load of money to take your sorry case"
