You were busy imagining what it would be like to kiss Dr. Spencer Reid when the BAU team was called into the conference room for another case.

There was a serial killer in Lexington, Kentucky. Two actually it was serial killing team. Two different M.O.'s, two unsubs. Four dead bodies, two male and two female. The males were fit and attractive which helped the partner theory. The males had more jagged and shallower cuts suggesting the unsub that killed them was less experienced, younger, most likely the submissive partner. The females had deeper and straighter cuts suggested that the unsub was experienced and probably the dominant. The females were tied with rope. The men were handcuffed.

Both couples were murdered in their houses. There were no signs of a break in at either house so they must have used some sort of ruse in order for them to be let into the house or they forced them.

There were signs of sexual assault on all the bodies. Now that could mean one of the unsubs was gay or they're using the males as a surrogate for someone else.

The team arrived at the station and you met up with the detectives in charge of the two murder cases. To your surprise, you knew one of them.

"Zachary Rogers?" You asked.

Zachary Rogers asked you, "Y/n L/n?"

"Oh my god, you're the last person I'd expect to ever become a cop"

Prentiss asked, "You two know each other?"

You answered, "Yeah, we went to high school together"

That was technically the truth. You did go to high school together but he was your boyfriend in high school. The team didn't need to know that though.

Zachary Rogers looked even better than he did in high school. He had buzz cut blonde hair and he was very muscular. He could take Morgan. (Imagine Stephen Amell)

Officer Rogers took you and Prentiss to last the crime scene. Rossi and Morgan went to the first crime scene Reid and Hotch went to the morgue to check out the bodies.

It was a nice house. The door was fine. You and Prentiss went into the living room where they were killed.

There were two chairs out of place. They were facing each other.

"They made them watch as they raped and killed the other" you said.

There were marks on one of the chairs. That chair must've been the one the women was chained to. The ropes and cuffs were gone meaning the unsubs took them with them.

You looked down on the floor. Scratch marks and scuff marks. The wood floor wasn't hard. It was soft. That was a stupid move. The scuff marks are from the chairs but the scratch mark were from something else.

You looked around and found some a climb of hair underneath the couch. You bagged it.

You asked, "Did the Pauls have a dog?"

"No" answered Zachary.

You announced, "I think I know how they got in"

"How?" asked Zachary.

"Not by force. A ruse involving a dog. You see these scratch marks, they're not from the chairs but they are from a dog. This hair is not from one of our unsubs. It's dog fur"
