Atlantic City Part 2

A/n: For those of you who don't remember, Atlantic City is the one shot where you have a drunken one night stand with Reid and then end up pregnant. Also this one is pretty different from the other one shots.

You didn't know how you were going to tell the team or what you were going to tell the team, let alone your family so you just didn't tell them anything.

You knew you were going to have to lie about who the father was. You were pretty sure having your co-worker's baby after a one night stand could be grounds for firing the both of you. You knew Hotch probably wouldn't care but Erin Strauss would. She'd fire Hotch for not firing you and Reid and then she'd fire the both of you.

Ever since you told Reid, he had been extra careful with you. He'd always have someone, mainly him, go in the field before you.

Then, you got a brilliant idea of how to deliver the message to the team.

GARCIA'S POV

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but Y/n and Reid have been acting weird lately. They've been closer. Also not be rude but it does look like Y/n might have put on a few extra pounds. Y/n also been acting more secretive. It seemed like she was hiding something. She wouldn't let anyone see the book she was reading.

I thought about asking her about it but I decided against it. Y/n's business was her business.

The mystery of her strange behavior was soon solved when I came across her vomiting in the bathroom.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked.

"I'm fine. I'm not sick. It's just" She hesitated before finishing her sentence, "I'm pregnant"

WHAT??? Y/n didn't even have a serious boyfriend. How could she be pregnant? Who was the father? Who else knows?

I told her, "Oh my god, y/n. Uh congratulations!"

Y/n said, "I know what you're thinking. Who is the father? Who else knows? I'm not ready to tell you who the father is but I already told Reid. He kind of scared me with a bunch of pregnancy statistics so I didn't tell anyone else"

That explained why they were closer. Reid knew. The books she has been reading are probably about having kids.

I asked, "How far along are you?"

Y/n replied, "Ten weeks. Garcia, can we just keep this between us for now? I'm going to tell the rest of the team. I'm just waiting for the right moment"

"Okay, I think I can do it"

"You think?"

"I'm terrible at keeping secrets and you know that"

Y/n got up from off the floor. She straightened out her outfit.

"I know but do your best, Garcia"

She left the bathroom as nothing had happened. I was still processing what she had told me. Would she stay on the team? Would she leave? God, I really hoped she would stay. Y/n was really important member of the team. No one could take her place. Reid would be devastated because he was secretly in love with her. Only Prentiss, JJ, Morgan, and I knew about that.

The team was called in for a case in Montpelier, Vermont. I don't remember ever doing a case in Vermont before.

According to Reid, Vermont was the second least populated state and the sixth smallest by area.

Later Morgan called me, "Hey baby girl. I need you to run a plate for me"

I told him, "Easy peasy lemon squeezy! What's the plate number?"
