TODAY WAS THE 4th of June, aka the day before the release party.

I hadn't seen Joey and the guys in a whole week which was crazy to think, but they had just had such a busy week. Joey told me that the New Kids had shot a music video for their up-coming single Tonight—which was due in about a month—and done lots of interviews.

The guys actually took me and Emily to their Friday Night Videos segment which had taken place a few weeks ago. That was a lot of fun because Joey kept looking at me behind the cameras the entire time, and he was acting all chaotic and crazy, especially with Donnie, which was just hilarious to see—I was always like that with Emily.

"Could you please pick up the phone for me? I gotta go check something with my mom downstairs," Emily asked me before she ran downstairs.

"Emily's room, who's speaking?" I answered the phone.

"Yo, this is Donnie! I just wanted to tell you both that if you wanted to bring some of your friends to the release party tomorrow, it'd be cool. Just as long as they're not too big fans, not to an extent where they will scream and want to rip all our clothes off, okay?" I heard Donnie chuckle on the telephone.

"I think I might know someone who'd like to come tomorrow. What time is the party?"

"The party starts at 8 but we will pick you up in our limo around 7.15 because the paparazzi will want to snap a few shots outside and some reporters are going to show up as well and want to do interviews, so make sure you're ready by then. I'll see you tomorrow! Oh, and Joey says hi," I felt my cheeks heat up the moment Donnie mentioned Joey's name.

"Tell him I said hi back. We'll see you guys tomorrow—we can't wait!" I said before hanging up the phone. Just then, Emily had gotten back from downstairs.

"Who was it?" she asked me, closing the door as she entered her room.

"It was Donnie. He said we could bring some people to the party tomorrow. I was thinking we should invite Amanda," I suggested.

We had been friends with Amanda for about a year now. She was turning 18 in the winter but she was in our grade. She had transferred schools last fall and that's how we became friends with her.

When our teacher asked for someone to show Amanda around school, I was one of the first ones to raise their hand. The two of us got along very well and during lunch break that same day, I introduced Emily to Amanda and they started talking. That's when she also found out that Amanda was a real swell gal.

And after a whole year of knowing her, I knew one thing for sure—she was the perfect match for Donnie. He was always walking around, saying how much he wanted a girlfriend and I knew that if he would've met Amanda, he would've fallen for her in a second.

"We totally should! The moment Donnie looks her in the eye, he will not be able to look away, I'm telling you! I'm gonna call her up right now," Emily said, getting all excited about it.

I didn't blame her though. I was pretty excited myself to have finally found Donnie's dream girl.
