My eyes flash open and I roll over to my side coughing up the water that got into my lungs. I have no idea where I am but I know where I'm going. And that's home. But as of right now I needed food.
The only thing was the sun had started to set and I don't know anything about following directions using stars and constellation.
Then I remembered something I'm a wolf, and seeing as how me being a wolf got me in this mess it better be able to get me out of it.
I quickly let Aliyah gain control. I stayed in the back corner of my mind and watch silently as she made her way the the forest.
She had been running for an hour when she gave me back control. I shifted and walked over to a trailer. I guess it was my lucky day because who ever lived there decided to wash.
I quickly pulled down some clothes from the clothing line and grabbed some shoes that were by the door of the trailer. As I turned around however there was a foot sixed whole in the ground and me being me... I stepped in it and fell face forward.
Now as if it couldn't get any worse the clothing line decided to fall after I not so gracefully fell and bumped into it.
After all of the ruckus it made the people in the trailer wake up.
"Shit" I mumbled to myself. my foot still stuck in the hole.
The door flung open and a man came out with a shotgun in his hand.
Where am I the country? Who even owns a shot gun anymore?
He let a shot fire and it landed right next to me. I quickly got on my feet. My foot now unstuck.
I darted towards the forest again the man still firing like a lunatic. One of the bullets hit the back of my right leg. Thank god that I'm a werewolf otherwise I would be in a hell of an amount of pain.
The crazy thing was the man followed me all the way to the edge of the forest than let out another shot.
I figured that I wouldn't be able to walk through the forest this late at night, with or without a bullet hole in my leg that was slowly closing.
So instead I found a small den that probably once belonged to some native wolves.
I crawled over to the deepest part of the den using the shadows as some sort of covering.
As I curled up into a ball, I slowly felt my eyelids getting heavy. As sleep invaded my mind I thought of my brother and grandmother.
Where are they? Are they ok? Are they looking for me? Did i get them into any trouble?
God I hope not I don't think I could live with myself if something happened to them because of me.

MICAHS POV (The start of the day he rejected her)
My mate. I had I mate. something I thought wouldn't be possible, but I stood in front of her. I kissed her. Felt the sparks as my lips touched hers. Heard my wolf howl in appreciation.
I have a mate, yet I am promised to another all because of a blood tie.
(Flashback)
My daughter Alessia will become your Luna, and if either of you were to find your true mates you are to reject them within the span of 2 weeks.
If you fail to comply with this one rule you will be killed when the clock strikes twelve.
Your father has agreed. You were to find your mate when you reached a certain age and you nd my daughter have failed.
The pack cannot survive without a Luna and neither can an Alpha.
I cut my hand in a bowl as well as Alessia and her dad. A witch chanted something in another language in which I could not understand.
As I stared into the bowl I felt the make shift bond start to form, as the bond formed the blood mixed. Slowly turning into a dark almost black purple.
(End of Flash Back)
A week or two after that day I completed the mate bond with Alessia. A year after I was give the Alpha title because her parent only had one child which happened to be a girl. Considering as how traditions don't allow females to run packs as an Alpha she became Luna and I Alpha.
Alessia found her mate three years after I became Alpha and the moment she saw him she rejected him and never looked back. But I knew it hurt her and it still does. She never gave him an explanation. He moved one and mated with another woman. She was never the same.
Every now and again I hear her cry her heart out.
I was supposed to leave the Fort Onai Pack three months ago. I am Under cover for my pack, taking down a pack from within sounded like a good idea at first but now its becoming a burden. I know my way in and out of this pack like the back of my hand. I know all of there strengths and weakness. I know who their best fighters are and who the worse are. I know where all of the safe spaces are, and finally I know all safety routines and procedures.
The only thing I didn't plan for was a mate. My mate. She walked into the training field and all I thought was I wish I could change the past but I can't. and as selfish as this sounds I don't want to die, at least not anytime soon.
So tonight I'll do it. I'll reject her, and hope that she moves on from me.

To clear up any confusion that some may or may not have:
Micah was born a regular wolf of the Red Moon pack. He worked his way up from the bottom and earned the Gamma title in that pack. When he didn't find his mate after 5 years he was forced by his alpha to make a blood tie in which he would mate with his Alphas daughter Alessia and become alpha.
He then infiltrated the Fort Onai Pack and took them down from within. And yes he killed everyone in the pack besides those who he "befriended".
Everything else will be in the next chapter which will included a time jump and a lot of information that will be told in that chapter
