"So, did you tell Odin, the self-acclaimed Allfather of the Nine Realms, of our plans?" Laufey looked to me with a look of expectancy. What exactly did he want from me? I had died, and he brought me back. All of his doings of course so I owed him nothing.

Behind a small scoff, I managed to keep my act up. I'd been playing the fool for some time now. "Yes, your grace." I knelt down before him and bowed my head with my hand over my heart. I wore the traditional armor of a female Asgardian Warrior and it felt so odd but, these last few months I'd grown accustomed to it.

"Very well, and how did Lady Frig and the Allfather react to the knowledge that you still had your life?" Laufey smiled wickedly and I grinned, not because I was helping him, oh no, it was because of what I had told them. The way they acted was one thing, the things I had told them about, however - an example being the powers I now obtained - and of course Laufey's plan, had been of shock.

For some reason, when I came back from Death, I had gained the power of helping the dead. My son, Jonathan, my poor son, was unable to come back for he was cursed at birth, but he does still come around once in a while. I've used my new powers to also help my daughter, Annabelle. When I had come back and snuck away from Laufey to Midgard for a few days, I had saw how unhappy she was the night she arrived to Midgard. I had to sooth her by rubbing her back gently and speaking encouraging words just as I had when she was an infant.

"Your daughter, I can assure you is safe. She is in the cells as we speak." Laufey smiled as I did. I practically lit up with this knowledge. I had known Laufey had taken Annabelle but he had her here in the palace?

"I can see you are enlightened by this news."

"More than one can begin to understand." I replied, standing up from my kneeling position. Laufey looked to me with a certain look, it reminded me of the way Loki looked at me the night he had admitted he loved me. The first time we were one... But this was a look I didn't like when it came from Laufey, it was the same look he'd given me when he kidnapped me in Scottsville.

Loki's look was a look of honest love and genuine happiness. Laufey's gaze was that of lust and greed.

Laufey held my gaze before looking away and calling a guard. "Please take Lady Makall down to the cells so she can visit her daughter."

I could see her! My beautiful red-haired child. I hoped that she was still in good health since I last saw her physically. Oh this was... wait... had he said visit?

"Laufey... I-I do not wish to visit my daughter," the king of the Frost Giants raised his brow to me, "I wish to take her home."

Laufey stood and I instantly felt small compared to him. He had to be at least 7-to-8 feet tall. He strode down the steps of his throne with ease before walking to me and stopping until he was less then a foot away.

"I had suspected you'd say that my sweet... sweet Makall." Laufey came closer and I felt my stomach clench.

"Do you remember when I had taken you from my son all those years ago on Midgard where I had you in that very room in your small town?" Laufey leant down a bit as he watched me closely.

"I do." I confessed. Laufey lent down closer and whispered into my ear, instantly causing me to want to pull the sword that was at my side and kill him.

"You see, I had a growing attraction to you, to see what you had done to the monster that consumed my son. To see you be the caring and nurturing flame that kindled his heart. I wanted that. I wanted you ever since that day." Laufey confessed as if we were at a church confessional. I backed away slowly from Laufey.

"My heart belongs to my husband, the father of my children. Not you, Laufey." I shook my head before motioning for the guard to lead me to the cells. Laufey called after me right before I entered the hall that led to where my daughter was.

"I brought you back from your death. You therefore owe yourself to me to pay for your debts."

"You were the cause to my death, therefore I am not in debt to you and I owe you nothing." I shouted back before the ice door slid shut, leaving the weak looking Frost Giant and myself alone. Purposely I fell back behind him a bit until we reached the holding cells where I could here a faint humming from a young female.

     Annabelle!

I walked up behind the Frost Giant as he fumbled with a few keys to unlock the door leading to the cells.

With one swift movement of my blade, the guard fell quietly to the floor, dead. His blue blood seeping onto the ice. I grabbed the keys quickly and fumbled with maybe six of them until the seventh was my lucky number.

"Annabelle?!" I shouted down through the hall.

"Mom?" An overly excited voice came from the far end of the holding cells hall.

"Annabelle!" I shouted before running down to where I heard the voice I had yearned to hear for so many months.

But suddenly that all changed; a loud roar from above echoed against the thick ice walls as I stopped mid-way. A loud banging followed and I heard voices. Tony, the Hulk, and Steve! Why they were here, I wasn't sure, but for the sake of all things Odin I hoped they'd be here to assist me in some way.
