Chapter 14

Once I got home with Fred and Mary after the court case I went straight to my room. I decided to be quiet before I had my break down just so I could hear what they were saying downstairs.

*conversation downstairs*

Fred: Mary don't worry I am going to make sure everyone knows that Archie was framed.
FP: We will get him home.
Tom(Kevin's Dad): Whatever it takes.
Mary: It's not him that I am worried about most.
FP: I will make sure Jug takes care of Gem in school and also the Serpents will look after her because she is part of the family.
Fred: For now we just have to give her space.
Mary: Remember though Archie is the only one who can calm her down probably for her panic attacks or nightmares.
Fred: I have an idea.

What Mary said about the nightmares is true. I have been getting some nightmares about my dad and they keep getting worse to the point where I don't want to sleep because I am scared of them nightmares. I am just hoping that Freds idea works because if it doesn't then who knows how I will be.

I was thinking about all the good memories with Archie like our first kiss, swimming in sweetwater swimming hole and lots more. Thinking about them made something like a string that was holding all of my tears back snap and next thing I know tears were flooding out of my eyes.

They were coming out for what felt like a half an hour but it was only 5 minutes. Then I heard a knock on the door.

Gemma: Who is it?
Jughead: Hey it's me Jug can I come in?
Gemma: Sure.

Jug opened the door slowly , came in and closed the door again. He saw all my dry tear marks on my face and he immediately came up to me and hugged me tightly.

Jughead: He will be back ok? I promise.
Gemma: Don't make a promise you can not keep.

Jughead stayed talking with me for an hour and then he went. I then decided that I wanted to talk to Betty.

I told Fred where I was going and I headed over to Betty's house.

I went to Betty's house and went straight in quietly because Betty told me I didn't need to knock I could come straight in but I just need to be quiet. I was about to go upstairs when I saw in the corner of my eye Alice Cooper talking to a man that looked like her.

Alice: So you want me to get closer to Edgar and also Evelyn if possible?
???: Yes but I think I might try get a high school student to get close to her.
Gemma: If you need someone to do that I am more than happy to.
Alice: Gemma when did you come in?
Gemma: I was looking for Betty but when I heard you talking about looking for a high school student I can do it. Also I don't mean to sound rude but who are you?
???: I am Charles Smith.
Gemma: Betty's brother but everyone thought you were dead because-
Charles: Chic told you that.
Gemma: Yes anyways do you want me to help or not.
Charles: That would be greatly appreciated. Ok now are you in?
Gemma: I am in so what do I need to do in school tomorrow?
Charles: Get close to Evelyn and get into the farm like Alice here.
Gemma: Ok now I better be going because I actually have to figure out a few things. Before you say don't worry I won't say anything to anyone other than you two.

With that I left out the front door and went to the Andrews place. I opened the front door to see Betty and Jughead sitting on the couch in the living room.

Gemma: Hey...
Betty: What were you doing in my house Gemma?
Gemma: I was looking for you.
Jughead: Then why were you in there for so long?
Gemma: Maybe because I bumped into Alice on the way out and she kept asking me questions like if I was ok and she kept saying that I could talk to her if I wanted to.
Betty: Ok.
Gemma: Why are you guys here?
Jughead: We found out something about my family.
Gemma: What is it?
Betty: We will tell you it once Veronica is here.
Gemma: Ok.

A few minutes later Veronica got here and so Betty and Jughead asked could they come to my room to explain everything. Once we got there I sat up on my bed with Veronica , Jughead sat on the mattress for himself or whoever decides to keep me company in my room because of my nightmares and panic attacks and Betty sat down on my desk chair.

Jughead: I found out that I have a twin sister that went missing years ago but I was to young to remember them.
Betty: Basically Jughead has a sister out there in the world that went missing when they were 1 and a half years old so that's why he can't remember.
Gemma: We will help Jug won't we V.
Veronica: Yes of course but how do we start? Do you have any leads like pictures of her?
Jughead: Betty and I are going to talk to my dad a bit more about it because he is the one that was looking at a picture when I asked him about who she was in the picture and he started to tear up. I am going to look for more pictures of here.
Gemma: Ok not to be rude but I really need sleep so goodnight.

With that I went to sleep not caring about being in clothes and not pjs.

Sorry if they are slow updates. I am trying my best to get back on schedule and update everyday at least once a dance. I noticed this has changed more to a Riverdale story but once I am finished with all the stories for these specific headlines then I want to do a fully Riverdale story just to change it up. Hope you guys are liking this and don't mind about the bit of a switch up but I am trying to get another chapter out today .❤️❤️
