Dahee retched into the toilet bowl, emptying the dinner content she had last night. This was the fourth day in row she had woken up with the feeling of puking everything she had in her stomach. Possibility of bad stomach bug was quickly ruled out when she realized her periods were late by weeks already.
"Oh, no...please be a false alarm" She murmured to herself worriedly.
She remembered all the nights spent in each other's arms, sweet kisses stolen in between the moments, his touches that left her body on fire and how only more touches would sate her thirst. She doesn't regret any of it. Not even for a moment.
She smiled by just remembering his smile. They haven't met for nearly month now, Namjoon was home and plus, Hoseok had to attend week long business meeting aboard. But he never forgot to call even one day, most of the time they would call each other thrice in a day but sometime even seven calls won't satisfy them.
Oh, she missed him so much...
Dahee opened the last drawer of the bathroom closet were she kept the pregnancy kit that she bought after sneaky out yesterday.
"Please, please God" She prayed.
Dahee took the test and waited for few minutes as instructed in the instruction menu. When she picked up the test, she saw a clear red plus sign in the middle.
POSITIVE.
"Oh, God. What am I going to do?" She murmured. Worry seeped into her mind, "How am I going to tell, Namjoon Oppa?"
"Later, later, first I have to inform, Hoseok" Dahee decided.
"Dahee! Breakfast is ready!" Came Namjoon's voice after the knock on her bedroom door.
"Coming, Oppa! Just give me five minutes!" Dahee called back, carefully placing the stick on the platform and washing her hands before picking up brush to brush her teeth and get rid of the vomit taste.
The moment Dahee stepped into the kitchen; she was hit by a strong wave of putrid smell. She covered her mouth with her hand and tried to keep the bile raising down but failed to do so after few seconds. She fled towards the washroom, leaving an alarmed brother behind her in kitchen, who rushed after her, calling her name again and again. But she wasn't in a state to answer back as she opened the washroom door and got on her knees to just retch air into the toilet bowl.
Namjoon entered the washroom, concern for his baby sister clearly visible in his eyes. He was about to take a step forward to assist Dahee when something caught his eyes. An oddly shaped white stick was harmlessly sitting on the platform beside sink. He picked it up to introspect further, a small red plus puzzled him little more, he frowned as he tried to remember what it is, he has definitely seen it somewhere but where? Then he remembered...Television commercials!
Namjoon gasped as he understood what it was and looked at Dahee in surprise, she was bent over the toilet seat but thankfully she wasn't retching anymore. "What is this?" He asked Dahee in a calm voice but when he saw Dahee tensing from the question, his face turned stoic and his voice dripped with anger.
"I AM ASKING YOU WHAT IS THIS DAHEE!" He shouted.
Dahee flinched at his tone but nonetheless turned to look at him, her eyes watery and her lips quivering, "Let me explain, oppa..." She pleaded but Namjoon was having none of it.
"I DON'T NEED YOUR EXPLANATION! JUST TELL ME WHO WAS IT!" Namjoon inquired taking a threatening step towards her.
Dahee blanched but kept her mouth shut, "Oppa, please" She tried in vain.
When it became clear that she won't open her mouth, Namjoon racked his mind for answers but only one name popped into his mind. He laughed humorlessly.
"How can I be so stupid? There's only one person who can do this" He muttered distastefully.
Dahee's eyes widen on his words, "Oppa, please don't do anything to him..."
This only made Namjoon more enrage, "Ofcourse, I will!" He shouted and then stormed off.
Dahee hurriedly scrambled on her feet and rushed after him, "Oppa, No!" But she wasn't fast enough and Namjoon slammed the main door in front of her face and locked it so that she won't be able to follow him.
"Oppa, no please! Just listen to me..." She cried on the door, jerking the door knob in futile attempts.
Then she quickly got up and ran to her room when she remembered something. She picked up her phone and dialed Hoseok's number.
'The number you are calling is currently switched off' Artificial female voice rang in her ears.
"Oh, no..." She dialed again but received same reply.
"Hoseok..."
