It was a very long and boring class to Mia. She wished she could get out of the class but that will be rude. She was lost in thought when...
Ethan: Hey! Psst.. Do you understand what they're saying? Not that I am saying you don't know, it is just that you are a new student and...
Mia: Do you mind?! I am trying to concentrate and listen to Miss Cecilia.
Miss Cecilia : Who is talking back there?! [to Mia and Ethan]. Don't you know it is rude to be talking while the teacher is talking? Go and kneel in the principal's office immediately!
Mia: I can explain....
Miss Cecilia: You can explain to the principal and tell.him what was sooo important that you couldn't wait till after class to talk about it.
At least, Mia was out of the boring class but she didn't want to make a bad impression on her first day of school.
Mia: [Soliloquising] Ugh!! Just great! Thanks to "Mr. Know it all", I am gonna end up messing up my first day of school.
They both walk to the principal's office. When they get there, Miami shows up.
Miami: What happened? Why are you guys kneeling?
Mia: You finally decided to show up. Well if you'd like to know, the person beside me has totally messed up my first day of school.
Miami: Sorry, there was an urgent meeting in the fairy world that I had to attend to.
The principal walks in, looking disappointed. Mia is shaking all over. She was terrified of what the principal would say.
Principal: Hmm... Before I proceed, I will introduce myself. I am the Principal, Mr Harry Horxford and I was informed that you too were side talking in class today. I am used to Ethan side talking but you [pointing at Mia] 👉, I didn't expect this from you, Mia, especially as a new student. So would you mind telling me what happened?
Mia: [silently to Ethan] What a whimp! I am so very sorry for disappointing you sir but it wasn't my intention to disappoint you. What happened was, I was sitting and listening when Ethan distracted me, I was telling him to let me be when the teacher punished us. That is the truth about what happened.
Mr. Harry: Is this true, Ethan?
Ethan: Unfortunately, yes sir.
The 🔔 bell rings telling the students, it was time for lunch. The principal, Mr. Harry, decided to let them go.
Mr. Harry: I will pardon you but don't let this repeat itself again, understood?
Mia and Ethan: Yes sir, thank you sir.
They both leave for break.
