Slowly slowly
At your own pace
No need to worry
Do it your way
They might run ahead
But don't worry my child
Worldly desires in their head
That they're running behind
They take the wrong path
Fall off the cliff one by one
Into the deep abyss so dark
Of false sense of satisfaction
The road you take is right
Your journey might be long
But it leads to the light
Away from darkness and wrong
Your path might feel lonely
As not many can go
On a journey for only
One's own mind and soul
Ps.
Sometimes when we feel lost,
that the world is running too fast,
and that we're the only ones left behind.
Even so one must not hesitate to take on a different path, maybe even make a new one. We must stay confident, because we might be alone right now but one day people will follow our path. So let's be patient, for the results might not be instant but they will surely come, all in good time.
