Originals: Everything Works Out In The End (Klatherine)

Ch.1: Always and Forever

It was a dismal night, as a human Kat walked through the New Orleans streets. After having left Mystic Falls after Damon had broken his promise to her, she'd decided to chance her luck here in New Orleans. She knew it would've been safer to call Elijah in case something happened to her on her way to their New Orleans home, but she hadn't. She'd decided to just surprise him and whichever other siblings were home at the time. She hated that she needed to be here, but she knew it was her only protection. She had to ask one of the Originals for help, because she was human. Although she'd found out that Silas had been taken down at last on her way here, there were many other dangers for her. Right now, Klaus killing her would be the best thing that ever happened to her if it came down to that. She'd rather run into Klaus or face Elijah, because she knew there was someone else here she had to fear. She knew that Marcel would be after her as soon as he knew she was back in this city that he called his. She knew it wasn't actually his, though. It belonged to the Mikaelsons. They'd built the city themselves. Not Marcel. Marcel had only repaired it after Mikael had burned it to the ground in the 1900's. She'd done some things that Marcel hadn't been happy about. She was sure if he knew she was here, he'd probably torture her and then kill her, despite his rule for not killing humans. He wasn't the only danger to her, though. So were all the nightwalkers. She was safe from them when it was daylight, but not when it was dark. All of the enemies she knew she had in this city made her nervous to be outside by herself, which made her walk as fast as she could briskly, heading for Marcel's old plantation home. Since Marcel had taken over the Mikaelson compound, she was sure the Mikaelsons were staying at the plantation. It was the only other option they had without having to compel anyone to give up a home to them.

The newly turned back human had been walking for about half an hour or so, but stopped, sensing that she was being watched. Then, when she looked around, she saw someone she didn't recognize. She wasn't a vampire though, so she assumed she was probably a witch. And she was proven right, because as soon as she saw her, she began to have a magical migraine from her. Then she was taken by some others.

About twenty minutes later, a couple witches that had grabbed her, let her go, which made her land on the ground inside a mausoleum. Then she heard a familiar voice. She was an old friend. They'd helped one another time and time again in times that it was needed the most.

"I told you to bring her. Not attack her. As Jane-Anne confirmed, she's not a vampire anymore. No need to use magic against her."

"Well, forgive us if we don't share your full-hearted trust. You brought Originals to town, after all," the witch that had given her a migraine replied to her friend.

"Go. Get out of my sight. You disrespect my sister and an old friend," she replied, in which the three that had brought Kat obeyed, going into another room of the mausoleum. Then the witch walked over and knelt by her friend. "Long time no see, Katherine. I heard you got yourself into a terrible ordeal. Then you came here. We have some things we need to talk about. Come on." Then the witch offered a hand to help her up, in which Kat took, though she normally didn't let others help her that weren't Elijah.

Kat got to her feet and finally looked at her old friend.

"You could've called instead of abducting me out of nowhere, you know, Sophie."

"Sorry about that, but I didn't want you to end up being dinner or captured by Marcel. Besides, we need your help. You know Marcel's hold on witches. My sister, as you know, brought Klaus and Elijah here with your help. I know Klaus would never do anything for you unless he actually has to just to please Elijah, but you need to convince them both to help us take care of Marcel. We can't just go and kill Marcel. If we do that, we risk a whole army of vampires slaughtering us all."
