Elijah was in the Bayou with the wolves and Katerina, when there was a sound of a motorcycle.

"What the hell?" Jackson inquired.

They saw a guy on a motorcycle ride into the encampment and stop as everyone approached him.

"Which one of you is in charge?" the guy asked.

"Who's asking?" Jackson questioned back.

Elijah noticed something off about the situation, a moment before the motorcycle exploded and everyone was thrown backwards in the blast.

Elijah picked himself off the ground with clothes and skin singed and covered in ash. It took a moment for his ears to heal enough to hear anything. He saw injured people all around him, some stumbling around. Looking around, Elijah realized that the explosion had had wolfsbane. There had most likely been wolfsbane in the gas tank. Fearing for Katerina since she was only human, he looked around for her. He couldn't see her yet though, so he went to Jackson, seeing him first.

"Take the wolves that can walk to the church. Get Klaus. He can help. I'll stay behind to find Katerina and help the others," Elijah told him, in which Jackson obeyed. He then found Eve whom was alright, and asked her to make as much of the cure for wolfsbane as she could, in which she left to do. Then he went back to looking for the love of his life, scanning the people on the ground. Then, after a while of looking around for her, he finally found her. She was on her back, injured. "Katerina!" He blurred to her side kneeling at her side, a hand on the side of her face. "Katerina, can you hear me? Open your eyes if you can hear me," he called, seeing that she was still alive. He could hear her shallow breathing, though. When nothing happened, he debated on whether to feed her his blood or not. Then he made up his mind, taking his jacket off and using it to apply pressure to her lower stomach wound, hoping it was enough. Then he called Rebekah for help. Having played nurse back in the day, she was the only one that would know what to really do.

"What's wrong this time?" Rebekah greeted, knowing lately that Elijah calling, much less any of them, meant that something was wrong.

"I need help. A suicide bomber came to the Bayou. There was wolfsbane in the bomb. Most of the wolves are fine. The ones that can walk are at the church with Klaus helping them. The others are being cured with the cure by Eve. However, Katerina is quite injured."

"Well, there's not much I can do there. Just get her here. If we have to, I'm sure Freya will gladly heal her," Rebekah replied.

Elijah and Rebekah hung up. Then he gently and carefully got to his feet with her in his arms, before blurring home.

Once home, he rushed inside, a very pale Katerina in his arms, which Freya immediately saw.

"Get her to her room," Freya instructed.

Elijah blurred to the room Katerina had been staying in, before laying her down, and Freya and Rebekah soon entered the room. Elijah then stepped away to stay out of their way, letting them take over.

As soon as Rebekah entered the room with Freya, she knew what he'd meant. She could see her lower stomach heavily bleeding, blood on either side of her head and on her right side, and an injured leg. She could also hear her shallow breathing and see how pale she was from blood loss. Thankfully, Freya could heal her wounds, but Rebekah knew someone was going to need to volunteer unless Elijah knew which blood type she'd need. She'd lost so much blood already.

Rebekah went over and put a breathing mask on her, as Freya took shards out of her leg, before starting to heal her leg and then her lower stomach. Freya then healed her head wound and side, but knew that she'd lost a lot of blood. She was going to need a transfusion. Then when she'd finished, Rebekah sat on Katherine's bedside, looking at the doppelganger. If she didn't get her blood loss restored soon, she knew that she was most likely going to die. She could see her slow pulse.

"Who wants to volunteer? If she doesn't get a blood transfusion, she could die. I don't know her blood type, but she's human, so it can't be a vampire. At lease, not a pure one. She needs either hybrid blood or a human," Rebekah informed, as she listened to the doppelganger with vamp hearing. Even with the breathing mask, she could hear her breathing growing very slow.

"Someone can go get Davina. I doubt Klaus will get here in time. Katerina and Davina have a strong connection. I doubt Davina will let her die," Elijah said.

Freya left to go get Davina.

Elijah looked at Rebekah.

"Is there anything you need me to?"

"There is one thing. Maybe if she hears you, we can keep her alive longer. I will say this, though. You'll have to be patient. This is the second time she's gotten a head injury since she came to this city. It may take a while for her to wake up," she replied.

Freya returned with Davina, so Rebekah gave Katherine the blood she needed, as Elijah sat on her bedside, talking to Kat. Then, when it was finished, they had Davina go to her room, Freya escorting her.

"It seems that she'll be fine, but I can't say for sure," Rebekah said.

While Rebekah kept tabs to make sure Davina was okay, Elijah stayed with Katerina, seated on her bedside. Everything was back to normal, but she hadn't woken up yet.

"Katerina, I need you to wake up," he called to her. "Please, Katerina."

After a while, she finally woke up just fine, which relieved everyone. Then, they later took out the enemy that had tried to go after the wolves. In the end, the injured wolves lived.
