(1) Sweet Start

Third Person's POV

The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. The rays coming through the windows woke up the sleeping beauty in the room. He blinked his eyelids adjusting to the light in the room. Slowly opening his eyes he took his phone from the nightstand checking the time.

Jungkook's POV

I woke up adjusting to the sun rays coming through the window. I took my phone from the nightstand to check the time. Its 7:30 currently. I thought I should get up and get ready. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. After brushing I went out of my room going downstairs for breakfast.

I reached the dining table my dad was already there reading the newspaper and drinking a cup of coffee. Mom should be in the kitchen. I went to the kitchen making myself a cup of coffee for myself too. Taking the cup I went to mom greeting her Good Morning and kissing her cheek. I went back to the dining table siting in front of dad. He saw me and put the newspaper down. I greeted him too.

"Good morning dad" I said smiling at him.

"Good morning kiddo" Dad replied grinning.

"Why are you grinning like that?" I questioned.

"I have got something for you" Dad replied showing me a brown envelope.

I stood from my chair going to him. He handed me the envelope smiling. I took it and opened it. It was a letter I read it and my eyes widened in surprise. I started screaming in excitement and jumping up and down. Mom came probably hearing me.

"Why are you so worked up this early?" Mom asked looking at me confused.

"I GOT ACCEPTED IN BIG HIT UNIVERSITY" I screamed happily.

"OMG! Really? That's amazing son" Mom replied hugging me.

"I am so happy" I said breaking the hug tearing a bit.

"Okay we will celebrate later. Have your breakfast first" Mom said.

After breakfast I went to my room. I can't believe it I got accepted. Big Hit is my dream university. I want to pursue music there. I want to become an idol. I am so happy.

Ohh! I forgot to introduce myself to the readers. Annyeong! Jeon Jungkook imnida. I am from Busan. I am 20 years old. I live with my parents here. I graduated recently. I love singing and dancing. Sometimes I write lyrics too. I applied for Big Hit University to continue my love for music. I am so happy that I got accepted. Its a dream come true for me.

I was in my room re-reading the acceptance letter when I heard a knock on the door. I shouted a 'come in' and the door opened revealing my mom.

"Hey sweety. We have guests coming over tonight for dinner so dress properly and we can also celebrate the good news" Mom said.

"Okay mom. Who is coming though?" I asked getting curious.

"Oh! Its your father's friend. Mr Kim and his family. So be ready at 6:30" Mom answered.

"Okay mom. I'll be ready" I told her and with that she left closing the door smiling at me.

I checked the time its 2'o clock now. I should take a nap.

I woke up and checked the time. Its 5:30 now. I should take a shower and get ready for the dinner. After half an hour I was done with the shower. I walked to my closet thinking what should I wear.
