(48) Team work

Third Person's POV

Jungkook is really in a messed up state today. Well first, he was woken up from loud cries of Reum and being in her dada's embrace didn't help today too. Seeing his big sister crying and whimpering Soo also started crying. He managed to atleast make a little something for his husband to eat as he had to go to work. Taehyung on the other hand didn't want to leave his wife alone but anyhow Jungkook convinced him to go.

The younger couldn't even take a shower or eat because of this mess. He wasn't even hungry, he just wanted to make the babies calm and relaxed at he wasn't getting any success in that. It was 2:45 pm now, meaning there is almost 4 hours left till Taehyung will be home. Hearing the babies cry non-stop made Jungkook cry too. He started sobbing badly while holding both Reum and Soo in his arms gently rocking them side to side.

He couldn't understand what was happening to his babies. He started thinking of himself as a bad parent, a failed mother. Tears were streaming down on his cheeks like a waterfall. He was bitting his lips to stop himself from crying out loud. He was having a mental breakdown thinking how he couldn't make his own kids to stop crying.

On the other hand, Taehyung was no better. He had a bitter feeling for the whole time. He called Jungkook many times as he was about to leave but the younger wasn't picking up his calls which made him more worried. He left early today, he wasn't able to handle the bitter feeling in his chest and the younger not picking up his calls made it more worse.

He left the university after explaining the situation to Namjoon, who got worried as well. He immediately told Taehyung to go home and he will manage the rest of his classes and that he and Jin will visit him as soon as the classes end for today. Hearing that Taehyung immediately left for home but not before thanking Namjoon.

Taehyung reached home soon, he quickly used his spare key and walked inside closing the door afterwards. He was immediately met with loud cries and whimpers. He quickly removed his shoes and sprinted to the living room. As Taehyung came in front of the younger he looked up at his husband helplessly and a choked sob escape his mouth. Taehyung was quick enough to hold Soo in his arms. A thought came to his mind and Taehyung immediately walked upstairs to the kids bedroom.

"Baby wait here" Taehyung said before walking away and the younger compiled.

As Soo was upstairs, away from Reum's cries. He stopped crying and looked at his dada with his wide bambi eyes. Taehyung understood what was going on. He sighed and rubbed the little boy's back to lull him to sleep.

"Sleep pup. Your sister is all right now" Taehyung said.

"Da da" Soo babbled.

"Yes pup" Taehyung said as he ran his hand over the little one's head.

"Ma ma" Soo babbled again and it seemed like the father and son were having a conversation.

"Mumma is alright too bub. Take a nap pup I need to calm your mumma too. I know your mumma must be over thinking" Taehyung said.

It seems that Soo understood what his dada was trying to say as he fell asleep real quick after that and the kid must be tired too from all the crying. As Taehyung felt calm breaths on his neck he laid Soo inside his crib and tucked him in gently. He was about leave the room when Jungkook entered with a peacefully sleeping Reum in his arms. Taehyung saw that the younger was still crying so he took Reum from his hold and tucked her in her crib too. Taehyung dimmed the lights and held Jungkook's wrist. He pulled the younger out with him gently and closed the door, keeping it slightly open.

Taehyung sat Jungkook down on the bed and kneeled in front of him. He held both of the younger's hand and looked up to see his face. The younger was looking at his lap while sobbing badly.
