(31) Don't Leave Me

Third Person's POV

The time was slipping fast as the two lovers were not ready to separate just yet. It was Monday, the day Taehyung would leave for Berkeley. It was currently 4pm. They had 45 minutes before the lovers part ways temporarily. Jungkook was breaking from inside but stayed strong for his love.

He wants to be happy for the elder. He was smiling slightly it was difficult but he did anyways so that his husband will smile too. He wasn't successful though as the elder was holding his tears, he had a sad smile on his face. Jungkook didn't want Taehyung to leave.

"Tae it's about time" Jin said sadly. All 7 of them were at the airport. They all were sad that their Taebear will not be around them for some months.

Taehyung nodded as he give all of them a weak smile. Taehyung tried to keep it in for his baby. He didn't wanted to be weak in front of his baby. He stood beside Jungkook, holding him in his arms giving him a warm embrace. The younger rests his head in his chest as tears started to fall from his eyes. The elder felt his shirt getting wet he controlled himself from crying too.

"It's fine baby. I'll be back before you know it. I'll be here with you again, hm? Don't cry bubba. I won't be able to go if you will cry. Please don't cry baby" The elder tried to comfort his bunny boy.

A sob escaped from the younger's mouth and the elder's heart clenched hearing that painful sob.

"Bubba look at me. Look at me baby please" The elder said as he cupped the younger's cheeks. The younger looked up and Taehyung wiped the tears from Jungkook's face.

"Give me your pretty and cute bunny smile baby" Taehyung said as his voice trembled. He kept on swallowing every feeling and tried his best to keep the tears but tears started forming in his eyes. Jungkook noticed this and bit his lips.

The younger held the Taehyung's hand intertwining their fingers together and linked their foreheads together. A tear slid down Taehyung's cheek when he closed his eyes. They stood their in silence. The others started to tear up too seeing the scene in front of them but some tried to hold themselves together.

The younger cupped Taehyung's cheeks and pressed their lips together. It was a slow and passionate, full of love. They parted after a while and looked at each other smiling slightly for the other to stay strong.

Taehyung pulled away from the younger's embrace and kissed his forehead, cheeks, eyes, nose and lips. He then gave the others a warm hug too. Everyone except Jungkook wished Taehyung luck.

The elder stood in front of his baby once again with a smile. He sighed and kissed his forehead again.

"I love you wifey. Take care of yourself. Don't worry too much about me and as we decided I'll call you thrice a day despite the time differences" The elder said caressing his baby's soft cheeks. The younger nodded.

"I love you too hubby. T-take care and b-be s-safe. C-call m-me w-when you'll land" The younger ordered with a cracking voice and the elder nodded his head grinning widely at his caring wife.

Taehyung stepped backwards as his hand started to slip away from Jungkook's hand slowly.

'Don't Leave me' The younger repeated in his head but was smiling from outside.

Soon Taehyung's figure faded away in the crowd and Jungkook hugged his Jin eomma immediately breaking down. Jin rubbed the younger's back comforting him.

On the other hand as soon as Taehyung boarded the plane he started crying silently too. He looked out of the window as the plane started to take off.

"I love you my Jungkookie" Taehyung mumbled looking out tears still falling from his eyes.

"I love you my Taehyungie" Jungkook said looking at the plane as he stood in Jin's embrace looking up at the sky, tears running down his cheeks.

"See you soon" Both of them said in their hearts.

Whether you say goodbye temporary or permanent, it's still very difficult to be away from the person you love. Sometimes goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again. At least that is the case here. They will meet again, see each other again, touch each other again and most importantly love each other again.

(A/n: Sorry for the short chapter. I couldn't write more. Also from the next chapters there might be time skips to weeks)
