(68) Uneasy

Taehyung's POV 

A cold breeze passed through my body, giving me visible goosebumps. I sat in silence as the meeting with my fellow professors and board of directors went on. I was trying hard to concentrate but I couldn't.

Why?

I don't know the answer to this.

I just couldn't.

I feel bothered by this uneasy feeling.

Like, like something is wrong.

But what?

Am I thinking too much?

I tried shrugging off this uneasiness but it keeps coming back.

Koo? The babies?

Are they okay?

I sighed and shook the thoughts away and focused on the meeting.

After long hours, the meeting finally came to an end. I walked out with Yoongi hyung and Namjoon hyung. I took out my phone and called Koo. Just to make sure. He didn't answer.

Strange

I called again but no answer again. I feel really worried. Should I go home?

"-ae Tae?" I heard Yoongi hyung.

"Huh?" I looked at him confused.

"What happened are you okay?" Namjoon hyung asked and I sighed.

"I'm just getting the uneasy feeling like something is wrong and Koo isn't answering his phone too" I explained.

"Do you wanna go home and check?" Yoongi hyung asked.

"Can we?"

"Yeah sure, we're done for the day anyways let's go together" Namjoon hyung suggested and we nod.

We all took our own cars and drove towards my home. As I got closer to the house, I felt my throat getting dry, heart beating rapidly. I parked my car as Namjoon hyung and Yoongi also came.

We all walked to the door and I opened the door. I stood frozen and heard gasps from the other two. The house was a mess. I heard cries and sobs coming from upstairs. I sprinted towards the voices.

The kids room.

I opened the door and saw the little ones crying. I picked up both of them and they stopped crying, but they were still sniffling silently.

"Mumma" Soo said as his voice cracked.

Yoongi hyung and Namjoon came running inside too.

"Jungkook" I looked at Yoongi hyung.

"Where is Koo?" I asked.

"He is unconscious in your bedroom" My eyes widened as I went to the bedroom immediately.

"I've called the doctor" Namjoon hyung said as I looked at Koo.

He had an injury on his head. Whoever is behind this is willing to die.

"Mumma!!" The little ones cried looking at Koo.

"Shh babies mumma is just sleeping. He'll wake up soon" I tried to calm them down.

"Nuu mumma owwie~~" Soo sobbed hiding his face in my neck.

I looked at the hyungs, Namjoon hyung came forward and took Reum from me.

"I'll take her outside as she still looks confused. You calm the little boy down" He said and walked out.

"Soo, bubba look at me" He looked up at me and I wiped his tears.

"Mumma is alright Soo. I promise" I said but he shook his head aggressively and started trashing around.

"Kim Jungsoo!!" I said in a stern voice.

He stopped and looked at me. Tears falling from his eyes as his bottom lips quivered. I felt guilty but I had to.

This isn't the situation for him to act bratty. I know he is worried and sad to see his mumma like this but I have to handle him like this sometimes so that he can understand that this isn't an easy situation for anyone of us.

I can't help but think what happened here, I don't have any answers for this right now but whoever is behind this, is not gonna slip away so easily.

"I might have an idea about who is behind this" I looked at Yoongi hyung with a blank expression.
