Chapter 14: The first date

Louis’ POV:

I couldn’t believe that it was her… I mean, not that she didn’t look great every day, but she looked beautiful in that dress! Her hair was half up half down and it really made her pretty face look even better if that was even possible. I tried to say something but I just couldn’t… I just stood there with my mouth open.

“Hey Lou.” She said smiling. God, how I loved that smile…

“Uhmm… Hey Jen. You’re ready?”

“Yeah. Where are we going?”

“Oh you’ll find out” I winked.

“Oh come on! I want to know” she whined.

“No! You’ll find out, I said” I said sounding flirtatious.

“Ok… But then there will be no kiss” she said with an evil smile on her face.

“But… You still have to find out when we get there.”

“Should we get going then? I can’t wait!” That girl has the patience of a… a…. Well me actually.

“All right love” I said putting my arm around her waist. We said goodbye to Perrie who had been so nice to help her with everything and took off. I opened the car for her to get in. You have to be a gentleman once in a while…

She kept begging me to tell her where we were going, but I wouldn’t. She pouted but I thought it was cute. Everything about her was cute. Her hair, her face, her personality, everything.

“Please tell me!” she pouted.

“No!” I chuckled.

“Then that kiss will never happen” she said trying to sound convincing.

“Right…” i said and rolled my eyes.

“What do you mean with that?! Don’t you think I could ‘not kiss’ you all night?”

“No…” I chuckled.

“It’s a bet then. What will the winner get?”

“HE would get as many kisses as he wants tomorrow” I winked.

“Ha ha. Very funny. You know that you’re not gonna win.”

“Is that so?”

“Yeah!”

“Well how about the loser has to say something really cute about the winner?”

“Deal!”

“You’re not gonna win…”I mumbled.

“What?”

“Nothing. Just saying that you look amazing.”

“Aw… Thank you, but that doesn’t get you that kiss.”

“Dammit… I was looking forward to that…” I joked.

“Oh really?”

“We’re here!” I yelled getting out of the car. I opened the door for her again. She looked stunned by what she saw. I was pleased. Now I could get that kiss.

Jenna’s POV:

“This is amazing, Lou” I said. It truly was. It was in the middle of the empty park with trees all around it. A single red and white-checkered carpet in the middle of everything. You could already see some stars on the sky. We went over to the carpet and sat down.

“Some wine?” he asked.

“Thank you. I can’t believe you did all this” I said looking around the carpet. There was some food and drinks and a single candle and a radio that was already playing silently in the background.

“Well I got some help from the boys…”

“They know? All of them?”

“Yes. Well they know that I like you…After that interview I had to tell them. I hope its ok?”

“Of course.” I smiled.

“How about twenty questions?” He asked me turning over so he sat right next to me.

“Sure!”

“I’ll start! So I have to ask… Why did you agree to go with Alice to our ‘meet and greet’ in your town even though you aren’t really a fan?”

“Well she kinda forced me, because I said something bad about you guys and then she didn’t want to talk to me… Then she came up with that idea of me going with her…”

“I’m glad she did” he smiled at me. I blushed.

“My turn! What did you and Harry whisper about when you first noticed me?”

"Oh god… Did you notice?” he looked totally embarrassed.

“Yeah… So tell me!”

“Ok, ok, I said and I repeat: That girl over there...She looks cute. Then he said: Yeah… I bet I can get her into my bed tonight.”

“What?!” I said almost choking in the food.

“I know… I won!” I hit him. “I was glad that you didn’t. I kinda thought to myself: why don’t you try flirting with her? She’s looks cute. Then when you got to me and Harry he was going to say something, but I did first. That was why he almost broke my rib when hitting me.”

“Aw… that was cute. I’m glad you did that. Or else I wouldn’t have gotten to know you and Harry would probably have said something really freaky.”

“You have no idea…” he said while shaking his head. I laughed a bit at that. Suddenly a Taylor Swift song came on and I jumped up and sang along. It was ‘Today was a fairytale’ and it couldn’t have suited better at this event.  I loved that song.

“So you like Taylor Swift. Noted!” He said. I just laughed at that and went on with the song.

“Yeah… She’s my idol” I smiled shyly.

“You know… You look a bit like her as well.”

“Really? My sister looked like her” I smiled but then I realized that I’ve just mentioned Elisabeth…

“Your sister? You’ve never told me you got a sister” he smiled. I sat down and i could feel a single teasbegan to roll down my cheeks. I burrowed my head in my hands. “Oh god… What’s wrong, Jen?” he asked while laying an arm on my shoulders.

“I’m sorry. It’s just when I think about my sister I can’t help crying.”

“Why?”

“I…  I don’t wanna talk about it…”

“Please tell me, Jen. I want to know what makes you so sad.”

“I… It’s just… My sister died in a car accident when I was 12 years old.”

“I’m so sorry, Jen."

“Don’t be… It’s not your fault.”

“I know, but…”

“Don’t be, ok?” Then before I knew it I kissed him. Just like that. I knew I lost the bet, but I couldn’t help it. He was so sweet. “So… Should we get back to your apartment?” he looked at me with a cheeky smile. “Not like that!” I said slapping him on the arm… Hard.

“Sorry… it just sounded like it. I mean you did just kiss me” he smiled. “You lost by the way!”

“I know…” I said trying to look like I was mad about it but I wasn’t. How could I? I loved that kiss. It sent sparks around my whole body and it was just amazing. It was a little one but so passionately that it seemed like it lasted for minutes. “Let’s get over to your apartment. We can play those 20 questions done…”

“Sure.”
