"Good morning Taehyung. Oh! You re-dyed your hair. It's so vibrantly blue!" Jungkook giggled.
He cleared his throat trying to not make a big deal out of it. But his comment made him so shy.
"Yeah." He responded looking away.
"Who did it? Your friend?"
"Chaeyoung. Yeah."
"You play your piano less. Is everything okay? By the way I made you breakfast." He put the food tray over the table.
Taehyung kept looking out the window. "I've been going out to the garden more." He said.
"That's great. If you ever need me to go out there with you let me know."
He finally looked at his plate. Three homemade pancakes with a glass of orange juice and a few bacon strips.
Beside the tray was a small clear cup with beautiful purple and red flowers. "What's up with you and flowers?" He wondered.
"They're beautiful."
"They die so easily."
"Everything eventually dies. That's why I appreciate their beauty before it's too late."
"Right." He mumbled.
"Do you not like pancakes? I can make something else—"
"No its fine." He blankly said.
"Why are you making that face then?"
"You're just so nice to me." He softly said.
"Of course. Everyone needs some kindness in their lives.
Taehyung smiled looking back down at the plate of food. "You look beautiful smiling." He added.
He felt his stomach flip flop at the comment. The sudden flashback from the day before came to mind.
"You pull off blue so well. I could never." Chaeyoung admired.
"Thanks. I think you can pull it off."
"Not even." She laughed as she finished drying his hair.
"Do you really like it? How do I look?" He asked. The mirror was tall so he could barely get a glance of half of his face.
He didn't feel handsome. It's not like he felt ugly either. He just felt...empty. Emptiness was not handsome nor beautiful.
Ever since he got in a wheelchair he let himself go. All of his self confidence went down the drain.
Before the wheelchair it was pretty much the same. He always felt like he didn't belong in this world.
Like no one understood his emotions.
It was lonely.
"Beautiful. Stray out of a movie." She smiled.
"Thank you."
"So what's his name?" She asked raising both eyebrows.
"Huh?" He asked confused.
"They guy you're crushing on. He's the pretty built guy I've seen around, huh? Why is he here?"
"I'm not...Jungkook is just staying with us for a bit."
"Ahh. Jungkook. Pretty name."
"I'm not crushing on him." He insisted slightly flustered.
"Right." She teased with a smirk.
