A/N :- "ocean: a body of water occupying about two-thirds of a world made for man - who has no gills" [Ambrose Bierce The Devil's Dictionary]
I read this few days back and I don't know why but it triggered me to write. it's my thoughts about the quote. I hope it connects.

"A world made for man"
He who was the first to walk this earth,
He who never soared high in sky.

He who built dynasties out
Of decorated destructions.

He who devoured benign breaths,
Leaving an exhale of rancid air behind.

He who gave everything a name,
To guard memories of them,
That he failed to survive.

He whose thirst left oceans dry.
He whose hunger left forests bare.

He who glowed with a dazzling crown
That ivory shines in the centre,
Prideful of its mother's sacrifice.

He who was born with armors,
Yet crafted measures for his defence,

While naked hearts lay,
Another pile of collaterals.

He who conquered everything,
But his fists couldn't clench.

He who outlasted everything
But this earth won't call his name.
