Later on, the NYPD arrived at the Black Cat and escorted Arnold, Arthur, and the guards out of the restaurant. The crowd cheered loudly when the agents and the Original Eighth Graders walked out of the building.

"Well done, agents," praised Chief Walter. "You've done this city very well, I must say."

"Thanks, Chief," said Dylan.

"Let go! Get your hands off of me!" The teens and the crowd moved out of the way for two cops who were carrying Olivia out of the restaurant. "Let go of me! I wasn't even involved!"

"Thought we would forget about you?" Xenna asked smugly. "Let me offer you a little advice: don't work for someone who enjoys hurting teens...honey."

Olivia was left speechless. The cops resumed arresting her as the crowd cheered. Finn placed his arm on her shoulders and kissed Xenna on her forehead.

"And here to congratulate you as well, meet the mayor of New York."

"Dylan Squires, as mayor, I present you and your team with the key to the city."

The citizens applauded when the mayor handed the key to Dylan. Mason and his friends clapped for him as well.

"Thank you. Me and my friends, we thank you and all, but we couldn't have done it without those guys over there..." He gestures to Mason and his friends. "...The Original Eighth Graders."

The crowd then cheered wildly for them as Dylan tossed the key to Mason. When he caught it, Dylan joined in on the cheers by clapping, followed by Brian and Xenna. Mason, Finn, and Lexi then held up the key together, showcasing their victory as an editor of the New York Times took a picture of the moment for tomorrow's paper.

Evening came once again. The city was bustling as usual. The lights were shining bright and the sounds of Times Square was ablaze. Back at the hotel, Lexi was standing on the balcony, looking over the city. She heard a knock behind her and turned around. She smiled when she saw Mason by the doors.

"Mind if I join?" He asked. Lexi chuckled in response as Mason walked over. "Crazy week we had, huh?"

"I know. Just imagine if we went back to Akron."

"Yeah. By the way...thanks for saving my life earlier."

"Thanks for helping me overcome my fear."

"I did?"

"Yeah. I kinda figure you were gonna get yourself thrown off of the balcony just to get me to come after you. Smart plan."

"Thanks."

"Mason...did you really mean all of those things you said at the airport?"

"Of course, I did. Every word."

"You know, it's crazy...I never thought my boyfriend would be someone I met from Miller South."

"Well...that makes two of us..." Mason and Lexi leaned towards each other to kiss when Mason's phone buzzed.

"Who texted you?"

"Hold on," Mason takes his phone out of his pocket. "It's Connor. He texted 30 minutes ago. He says: 'Hey, man. Heard you guys stopped Walker and saved New York. Congrats! Anyway, you know that red box I gave you? You can open it now.' "

Mason dug in his pocket until he pulled out the box Connor gave him. He opened it and was surprised by what was inside.

"What is it?" Mason looked at Lexi and smiled. He shows her what was inside: a silver bracelet with a single charm. Engraved on the charm were The initials 'M+L.'
