"Every tear like a water fall. In the night the stormy night she'll close her eyes"

Oliver sat with Percy at the Gryffindor table. It was in mid November of their Third year at Hogwarts. Outside it was gloomy and a bit rainy. They were eating breakfast when the owls started to fly in to deliver the mail. Oliver was looking at Taylor from afar. She sat alone looking sulky. She had only a bit of eggs and a cup of orange juice in front of her.

"She looks sad"
Oliver sighed and told Percy.

"You should go talk to her"
Percy answered and smiled.

"That would be too awkward."

"It's already awkward when you just stare at her. People will begin to think your creepy, Oliver"

"That's different though"

"If you say so"
Percy shrugged and continued to eat his bacon.

A letter dropped in front of Oliver and he opened it.
"My parents just got a dog"
He said and smiled. "Cool"
Percy said as he looked at the moving picture of the dog over Oliver's shoulder.

Over at the Ravenclaw table Taylor was surprised to see a letter fall in front of her as well.
She took it into her hands confused yet hoping it was from Cho. It wasn't from her. It was from
"Grandma?"
She mumbled to herself as she started to read it.

Hello Taylor, I hope this made it to you. It's Grandma. I don't really know how to use the owl that you use for your school so I hope it went right on your end with receiving this. I don't know how to tell you this but...your mum and dad well...they got killed.

Taylor froze, her mouth wide open. She forced back her sudden tears and tried to keep on reading.

There was a horrible, horrible car crash and they both were in the car and they got killed. I am so sorry Taylor. You will come to live with me and your Grandpa.
Stay strong and keep up the grades!
With love and sorrow,
                                     Grandma Ann

Taylor threw the letter into the floor and got up. With no hesitation, tears started to flow out of her eyes and down her face. Oliver watched from afar as she ran out of the Great Hall. Everyone else's eyes darted at her as she turned the corner and was out of sight.

There were whispers all around. Oliver was about to get up and follow her when Percy held him back. "We have to get to class"
He told him.

"But she was crying Percy!"

"It was probably nothing"

Oliver opened his mouth to say something when the bell rang which meant class was starting. They got up and out of the Great Hall and down the corridor to the Potions Room for their first class of the day. Oliver had this feeling that Taylor was not okay and he wanted to go and find her, but Percy held him back.

As for Taylor she kept on running. She ran out of the castle and down the path to the quidditch pitch. She passed it and made it to a lake. The water was a strange misty black. She laid on the cold wet sand and closed her eyes. The rain fell on her as she sobbed. First her best friend was gone and now her parents where too.

She laid there crying for hours, every tear seemed like a water fall to her. "This has got to be a dream"
The voice in her head said as Taylor tried to stop crying since it was already starting to get dark. She was crying all day and missed her classes. But she didn't care. All she wanted was the letters to be fake so she could have her parents and her best friend back.

She tried to calm her sobs so she could head back to the castle. But the tears wouldn't stop flowing. Life has been really hard since Cho Chang left her and now that she was back at school the work had gotten a little bit harder. She has been managing to keep her grades up but that meant all she had time for was studying. She never managed though, to make a new friend. So all she had to comfort her was herself, which was really no help at all.
