RAVENCLAW!

"Woah who's that? She's pretty.."
Oliver thought to himself as he sat at the Gryffindor table. He was starting his second year of Hogwarts. He loved the place, only for quidditch, he wasn't one for learning and doing homework.

He sat slumped on the bench of the long table filled with his house mates until he saw a girl at the front of the line of first years waiting to be placed into their houses.

"Webb, Taylor"
Profesor McGonagall called out someone's name and the girl that Oliver had his eye on stepped up and onto the stool. "Taylor...cool" He thought to himself and smiled unnoticeably. The hat was placed on her head on there was total silence.

"Hmm ok"
The hat suddenly spoke out which made Taylor startled a bit.
"Oooh yess"
The hat mumbled as it's face scrunched up as it was in deep thought. "Please be in Gryffindor, please be in Gryffindor"
Oliver thought over and over again in his head crossing his fingers under the table.
"Plenty of bravery. And passion. Yes very good traits of a Gryffindor-"
Oliver's heart started skipping beats as he heard Gryffindor being mentioned.
"But wait! I see so much wisdom in you girl. Yes, yes, and wit. Very good. You have trails of bravery in you but I see your knowledge stands out more than ever. It's got to be...RAVENCLAW!!"
The table next to the one Oliver was sitting at was cheering very loudly as they gained a new student. Oliver clapped his hands too but felt a little sad. He wanted her to be in Gryffindor.
From the front of the room, Taylor set down the hat onto the stool and speed walked to the Ravenclaw table shyly. She passed the group of Gryffindors that included Oliver.
He got a better look of her and noticed something special about her. She had purple eyes.
"Woah"
He thought to himself and smiled at her. She didn't notice since she was intrigued in the Ravenclaws that she was joining.
She zoomed passed him and sat next to a Ravenclaw prefect. "Congrats" she said to Taylor and she just quietly smiled back at her.

The night went on with the sorting and the feast. Oliver wanted to turn around and stare at the mysterious Taylor girl who was not to far from him in the Great Hall but everyone would notice and think he's a stalker.

When Dumbledore declared that everyone get to bed and the food disappeared, Oliver quickly stood up with everyone else and tried to get closer to Taylor.
"First years please follow me"
The prefect from before called out and Taylor shyly followed behind her. Oliver tried to catch up, also not trying to make a scene, but Percy yelled at him.
"Where are you going Oliver? The common room is this way"

"Oh sorry I just-"

"Never mind. Let's just get a move on before it gets to crowded"
Percy grabbed Oliver by the arm and they made their way out of the Great Hall and up the Marble Stairs. Oliver looked up to the right and saw the first year Ravenclaws including Taylor, walking up another stair case and onto the fifth floor. He could see Taylor out of all the students by her hair. It was a golden and burnt brownish blondish hair. It was kinda messy at the top but it turned into waves on the bottom.
He thought it looked good with her eye color.

The two boys walked into the common room and saw it was getting packed up with chattering students.
"I'm poofed" Oliver said and Percy nodded. They walked up the stairs to the boys dorms and saw a door with their names on it. "It's nice that we have the room for just us two. Everyone else has to share with four people total."
Percy said as they read the name lists as they passed them by to get to their dorm. They walked in and saw their stuff laid out for them already.
"Here's to second year"
Oliver said as he changed into his night clothes.
Him and Percy got into their beds and closed the red curtains that were around their beds and said their good nights.

The room went silent except for the crickets that were chirping outside their dorm window.

Out of nowhere after about ten minutes Oliver spoke up again. "Percy"

"What?"
He grumbled since he was woken up from a light start to his sleep.
"Where is the Ravenclaw common room located?"
Oliver asked bluntly.
"Why Oliver, do you want to know at this time of night? Out of all questions there are-"

"I don't know."
Oliver lied
"We already know that the Slytherin and Hufflepuff common rooms are in the dungeons...so where is the Ravenclaw common room?"

"Well I think it's on the fifth floor. Like right at the top of the stair case. I'm not really the right person to ask" Percy answered letting out a yawn at the end.

"Ok"

The two went back to bed after that. Around 20 minutes later Oliver spoke once more which really annoyed Percy.

"Hey Percy, I have another que-"

"Oliver go to bed for Godrick's sake!"

A/N: I just looked up Taylor Webb on google after naming the girl in the story and stuff and I had no idea that a girl named that actually existed. Just so you know I did not name the character in this story after her! It was just a coincidence.
Sorry for this note but I had to address this just in case. I don't like leaving A/N's.
