"Okay, babe. Enough Elite. We need to work on this song, Zee." Harry said while he peeled Zayn's arms off his body in order to stand up.
Zayn groaned into the throw pillow before looking up at Harry with pleading eyes, "Just one more episode, Mr. Styles?" He said and rubbed his hands together.
Harry rolled his eyes before grabbing both of Zayn's hands and pulling him off the couch.
"I wouldn't allow any slack from any other student. So I'm not allowing it now." Harry replied while looking at Zayn, his hands still firmly gripped by Harry's fingers.
"Well, you're not in a relationship with all of your students... I feel like that gives me a bit of favoritism." Zayn whispered as he leaned in with the intention of distracting Harry.
Harry dropped one of Zayn's hands and used his free hand to cover Zayn's mouth.
"Not today, sweetheart, sorry," Harry said semi-apologetically.
Zayn rolled his eyes as he scoffed, "No you're not. C'mon, let's write this song." Zayn huffed as he went into Harry's room to change.
"Are we going out again?" Harry asked.
Zayn turned around to face Harry and simply nodded.
He analyzed Harry's warmly lit living room. It was nicely decorated and with enough candles, tea, and an open window, it made the perfect setting to write a song.
But tonight, the warm spacious living room filled with noise from the traffic a few floors below just wasn't inspiring to Zayn. And Harry understood that.
"I guess, I'll change as well," Harry replied and Zayn smiled before walking into the bedroom.
Zayn and Harry had a few select places they liked going to when writing.
But tonight, the inspiration wasn't going to be found in any of those locations.
"Hey guys! Another writing sesh?" The woman greeted from behind the counter.
"Yea, Avie. So just the regular order for today," Harry said with a smile.
"Avie, you're getting bigger every time I see you, how far along are you?" Zayn asked as he touched her belly gently.
Avie chuckled as she placed her tatted hands on her large bump. "I should be due soon any day now. But she won't stop growing." Avie said with a sigh. Zayn looked up her astonished.
"Yet, you still look radiant as ever. It's the Asian genes, I'm telling you." Zayn commented with assurance. Avie gave him a smile as she chuckled.
"You're probably right, I owe it all to the Taiwanese." She smiled before walking behind the counter. "I'll get you guys your drinks."
"Thanks Avie!" Harry yelled from their seat in the back of the cafe. Because the seat was next to the window, it gave them a great view of the street and the lights from other shops and passing cars gave them a wonderful feeling.
Harry lightly tapped on the cold, white tabletop as Zayn took out their journals and pens from his bookbag.
"Okay, we have the 1st verse. Pre-Chorus and Chorus. I still don't really feel the outro,"
"Yea, I feel like we rushed it," Harry agreed as he listened intently.
"Mm, so we'll go over it. So then we'll need to edit the outro," Zayn repeated as he wrote in his journal. "We still need the 2nd verse and bridge!" Zayn said happily.
Harry smiled as he nodded, "Okay, not too bad. We're almost done!"
"But we could've been done forever ago if you didn't slack off so much," Harry snarked and Zayn scoffed.
