"Bye, my love!" Zayn called out but heard no response. He was getting for his first shift at a high-end bar that Nico owned. At least, that is what he told Harry.

"Harry, I'm leaving!" He yelled out once more, soon hearing footsteps.

"You can't leave without-- Oh wow, you look hot, Zayn," Harry said and pulled Zayn in for a kiss.

"Mm, okay, you can't trap me here, I'm gonna be late," Zayn said pecking Harry's lips a second time.

"Fine, I guess," Harry sighed. "Leave me alone, here, in my solitude to waste away," He pronounced dramatically, falling on the couch.

"You'll be fine, enjoy your alone time," Zayn whispered as he bent over the couch to kiss Harry's cheek.

After grabbing his things, he unlocked the door yelling, "Bye, baby!" and was met by Nico waiting for him to drive him to the restaurant where they would be meeting their clients.

"Zayn! Hello, hello, are you excited?" Nico greeted him.

"Um, I think I'm not more nervous than excited. I hope they still like me," Zayn said as he looked at his hair through the mirror. "Maybe I should've shaved," He thought out loud.

"Zayn, you look great, shut up. Literally, everyone won't stop talking about you. Ever since I told Gigi you were coming back I haven't heard her stop talking about you to her friends,"

Nico saw Zayn's legs begin to bounce and his fingers were tugging at the seams of his long sleeve shirt. He reached over and gave Zayn's neck a brief squeeze.

"You'll be alright, Z."

Zayn tried to suppress the guilt he felt for returning to escorting. He was honestly scared.

Scared Harry would find out. Scared his return to the business won't be successful. But most of all, scared he wouldn't be able to help his family and that jeopardizing his relationship would have been for nothing.

Zayn inhaled deeply and looked at his reflection in the mirror one last time.

He could definitely do this. The quicker he began, the quicker he could go home to Harry.

Nico tried distracting Zayn from his nerves by playing music and talking about the date.

"Apparently the girls are royalty? They're from Nigeria, I think."

"Royalty? That's kinda sick. But why us?"

"Because we're not African?" Nico asked confused.

"No you idiot," Zayn laughed. "I'm barely getting back in and you've only been in for a second, why'd they choose us out of everyone who is more," Zayn struggled to find a word. "You know,"

Nico laughed, "Damn, Zayn, no I actually don't know. I think we're pretty hot shit and we can have a conversation, we're good at what we do, Zayn."

Zayn just smiled. "I guess so,"

"Also, did you want to change your outfit or..." Nico said looking at Zayn's clothes.

"I thought this was nice, you dickhead, remember I'm supposed to be working at a bar," Zayn shoved Nico.

"Mm, okay, totally fine, I'm just saying because I brought this," Nico said and pulled out a black bag from the back seat.

"You're a saint," Zayn said before unzipping the bag and finding a red suit. He quickly pulled the clothes out and changed into them in the car.

"Perfect timing," Nico chimed as he rolled down the window and gave his keys to the valet.

As the stepped out of the vehicle, Zayn caught a glimpse of his reflection from the restaurant's windows.

He looked like his old self again. His confidence began to settle in more, especially after feeling the gazes of the people around him.

He felt like his old self again.

Nico smiles sensing the energy shift in Zayn.

"Buona fortuna, bello."
