"I think we should all calm down and take a deep breath-"

"Cut with the bullshit Y/n! I demand answers and they better be good or else I'm vandalizing the B&W that hotshot owns."

I threw my hands in defeat, quickly coming up with ideas and ways of how to wiggle myself from this awkward situation, especially because Sanji was in Franky's strict grip. The blonde was the one who accepted the news badly. Never in million years would he imagine such turn of events as this.

I sighed, flopping on my perfectly made bed. "What do you want to know?"

"Uhm, I don't know... EVERYTHING! Where did you get that injury?" Nami, not so gently, tugged me by the arm, exhibiting it to the others as if I were some antic and not a human being.

"For the tenth time, it's not an injury," I pulled away, "they are only bruises. I fell from a cliff after I slipped on the railing."

At least Robin was level-headed and didn't push me too much. "Law was there, correct?"

"Yes."

I definitely felt the sting of guilt for keeping certain details from them, mostly because I knew how much they endured my crying and mood swings. However, there was a small voice that was actually happy to have a secret, not wanting to share it with outsiders and clutching the confident with the fierce territoriality of a truculent two-year-old. This, of course, was buried deep inside my conscience.

Eventually, Robin took pity on me and replaced Nami with her questions that seemed more and more impossible to avoid the orange-head oblivious (mild) annoyance. "Did you solve that misunderstanding?"

No one could read between the lines and I was glad she kept that piece of information for herself. There would have been a lot more hazard and incites otherwise.

"Yes, he explained everything." I reassured with a genuine smile that reached my eyes.

"If you believe him, then I believe you. Ok," she turned to our group of puzzled expressions, the vague spread of confidential information cut off with a simple slap of fingers. "Interrogation is over. Boys, out. This is now 'only girls' zone."

"Wait," Sanji interrupted, not satisfied with how things turned out to be, which he stated over and over again, thus yearning himself a few ugly looks from everyone in the room, "I still don't understand a thing! Is my Y/n-swan with that..." He cringed barely spatting the raven's name. Well not barely, he couldn't even muster enough willpower to even pronounce his surname. "That... guy?"

"Indeed, she is in a relationship with him." Robin confirmed, something about her tone making me beam in joy.

"Like a business one?" Sanji continued, his brows furrowing.

I clasped my forehead, sighing deeply, a sudden feeling of tiredness consuming me. "What with you people and the business thing? Do I look like someone who can manage such a thing?"
