2 years past without any big deal for those 2 Chunnin rank shinobi, Uchiha Itachi and Izumi (y/n). They already accomplished a lot of missions together, from D-rank missions to A-rank missions. They're very skilled shinobi and known across the Konoha. That pair are undefeated when they're together.
This year, they were 11. They always train together with Uchiha Shisui too. Shisui was even more stronger than both of them obviously. Shisui was known across the Shinobi world with his nickname, Shisui The Teleporter.
One day, those two Chunnin were summoned by the Hokage. The Hokage asked (y/n) and Itachi to join the ANBU squad and they agreed to take the position.

"Oto-sama, I've assigned to join the ANBU squad starting next week".
"Wha- That's great! That's beyond any other achievement in our family eventhough most of our clan member were in the ANBU squad as well", (y/n)'s father answered her. "How about Fugaku's son? He got the promotion too?" He added.
"Yes, Oto-sama. Both of us will start next week." The girl answered.
"I hope you continue to be more diligent to become even better than this". The father said while reading his scroll then, he turn to face his daughter.
"You're truly my daughter, (y/n)", he said while giving her a pat on her head.
"Thank you, Oto-sama. I promise, I'll make you proud", (y/n) bowed to her father as a sign of respect.

(y/n) and Itachi walked together into the ANBU's locker room. They brought their belongings such as clothes, towels and some weapons in a box. Itachi also had a long katana with him. (y/n) also carrying her beloved sword behind her back.
When the both of them entered the locker room, all eyes were locked on them.
"Hi, my name is Uchiha Itachi and this is Izumi (y/n). We're both assigned to join the ANBU starting today", Itachi said introduced himself and his best friend.
"Wow! Both of you looks still young. How old are you?", asked a brown haired man. He didn't looked that old too. He maybe 2 or 3 years older than them.
"We're 11", (y/n) said with her soft voice.
"That's really young. The youngest in here. Okay you two may have the lockers at the corner over there", the brown haired man points his finger to the lockers.
Itachi and (y/n) nodded and bowed at them. They walked to their lockers and start arranging their things.
(y/n) put a picture of her with her brothers in her locker. She folded her clothes and arrange it properly. Her locker looks so neat.
(y/n) reach out her head to have a peek into Itachi's locker. His locker was greatly organized as well. He also stick a photo of him with his little brother, Sasuke at the locker door.
